I had been thinking of purchasing an infrared heating pad for a while after laying on one and reading about all of the benefits. I didnt want to spend hundreds of dollars though like the mat I had laid on.My research lead me to find the Healthyline model. I decided to get the Jade and Tourmaline one that was big enough to cover neck to hips. Healthyline seemed to have more EMF protection and I really liked that. I finally ordered it and it arrived timely in a nice box. It even came with a removable cover and a carrying case.I was impressed by the warranty and the lifetime upgrade availability as well.My husband had strained his back and as soon as i plugged it in he was on it. Then my cat had a turn....I finally got to try it and it is so great! The heat penetrates deeply into the tissues without feeling too hot. It induces deep relaxation also. The trickiest thing is that the degrees are in the Celsius format. That takes some getting used to. Otherwise I love love love it! Also I like that it has a timer and will only turn on with the timer selected. No worrying about forgetting to turn it off!I am a massage/bodywork therapist and bought this for work to replace my old table warmer. While this only covers about half of the table it is a thousand times better!.All of my clients love it, some have even purchased their own since trying it.Due to the placement of the plug and it not being as wide as the table I have had to play around with the placement so they dont feel the plug underneath them. I have used it underneath with a fleece cover over it and have used it over top of the sheets like a blanket. It works great to soften tissue and fascia making my work much more effective.

I have been looking at "bio mats" for a long time and just could never quite take the cost plunge. I read the reviews on this and decided for the affordable price of this I would give it a try. I absolutely love this mat. I am on it every day, sometimes twice a day. The fact that it heats up is such a plus and I am instantly relaxed. My husband tried it and was asleep in five minutes - ha! Combine this with meditation or high frequency music and it's heaven! I have noticed a huge enhancement in my mood and energy, mostly I think because it really just helps you relax into a space of zen and stillness and we all need more of that! When the kids can't find me...she must be on her "mat" with her headphones on... ;)

I was very impressed by how nicely the product was presented, packaged and the extras like the mylar heating blanket and the cover. It was so nicely packaged, the Amazon box, then a grey plastic cover, then another box, and everything inside, so beautifully put together. User manuals and a great warranty. When used on the feet, it feels like you have your feet by a nice warm fireplace, it's not heavy and works very well. The heat is amazing and it seems well made. It seems like a very responsible company.BUT, I don't understand why they describe this mat as 31" x 20", the border is 4" by 3 1/2" making the heating part of the mat only 23" x 13". I didn't realize until I tried to use it on the front of my body and put it up to my chest, that's when I realized the cold eurothane border didn't heat up and to use on your front, you've got this 4 inches of cold plastic that you have to hold away from your face with your hands. So you can't sleep with it over your body if you are trying to heat up your chest and shoulders. It isn't as wide as your back either. The stated measurements would completely cover your entire body, both length and width with warm stones.Why do they design these with this large cold unuseable border around it that actually makes the mat cumbersome? I researched these for days until I made the decision to purchase this size based on the fact that it would have covered my entire body from the neck right to the top of the legs.Also find that there are a couple of the stones that don't heat up, one in particular that is the furthest corner away from the controller is cold. Temperature gets up to 67C according to the controller, the center of the mat gets very hot and the rest of the mat is cooler as it gets to the outer edges, the corners at the further end having almost no heat at all. I don't know if this is the norm for these.This is a well made product with a well intending company, but they should advertise it as a much smaller useable area, and make the border smaller as it makes it somewhat cumbersome.UPDATE; I have recommended this to several people including the doctors at a pain clinic. It does work, it's not just a "heating pad". It does help sore or tight muscles, tendons and arthritis.UPDATE; September 2022; I have used this mat almost every night since I bought it. I sleep on this mat covered with a towel, every night. The mat is almost three years old. It's just part of my bed now. The only part I don't like is what I mentioned in the beginning; the thick plastic border. But three years....

Quality mat. Large stones. I noticed before it actually got hot, this is not your average heating pad, I could feel a sensation of better blood circulation or something therapeutic happening deep in my back and legs.. this is so relaxing. The heat /timer pass is easy to use. I would prefer a longer cord. Heats up fast, can adjust to very hot Even with cover pad (included) which is also great quality, slightly padded. Tried with an emergency blanket that was also included for a sauna effect and I definitely have a sauna mat. So far I LOVE This and want everyone I know to try it!... Downside, I was only going to test it out real quick for a few minutes.. an hour ago and I still don'twant to get up.. maybe after a nap.
