The media could not be loaded. . Hotep brothers and sisters and thank you for looking at my review of the Watkins Gourmet Organic White Cheddar Popcorn Seasoning, 3.3 oz The company was founded by J. R. Watkins in Plainview, Minnesota, who began selling liniment in 1868 door-to-door in the southeastern part of the state. A year after J.R. Watkins began selling liniment, he introduced the trial-mark bottle. Molded into the glass bottle, about one-third of the way down, was a mark which showed how much of the product a customer could use and still get a refund. A label with the statement, “If not fully satisfied, your money cheerfully refunded,” also appeared on the bottle. The Watkins trial-mark is believed to be the first money-back guarantee] in America. The company moved to Winona in 1885] and added a number of products to its lineup. Baking materials including pepper and vanilla extract were added in 1895 along with cinnamon, ginger, cloves, peppermint extract and lemon extract. Between 1889 and 1914, Watkins constructed six manufacturing buildings behind the Winona Administration Building. J.R. Watkins died in 1911. In 1914, a prominent ten-story building completed the look of the Administration Building. Maher’s Administration Building included a 70-foot-high rotunda dome coated in 24-carat gold leaf, a blue Bedford stone façade, 224 stained glass skylights and three custom-made Tiffany-stained glass windows. I like the flavor of the popcorn seasoning the only problem I have is you have to put a lot on to taste it and a lot falls to the bottom of the bowl, which I feel is wasted. I recommend my friend. Thank you for looking at my review. I hope it is helpful for you. If so, you can check the helpful box below, it will help me review some More. God bless you. Tasty Good Topper
WHEN POPCORN fills bowl 1/2 way during popping, I give it a sprinkle then top it off once again while all is still warm. The flavor is perfect and comes out fine, blending well - most satisfied.

Short Shelf Life Even Though Packed With Salt
I purchased this product on Aug 4, 2024 . . . and by Jan 4, 2025 it was rancid! Product use by date reflects Jan 31, 2026! In spite of the fact that it is basically refined salt, it obviously has a short shelf life span after opening, due to the other miniscule amounts of ingredients included that do not enhance the performance of (I’ve read other reviewers complain about how the salt does not stick to unbuttered popcorn) or flavor the product in any way. While salt has been used throughout time to extend the shelf life of many foods - this is not one of those foods. Have you ever smelled rancid oil? That is what I get when I smell the product at 5 months after opening. This product contains both canola and sunflower oils. One or both of the oils used in this product are rancid - which leads me to question Watkins on the quality of ingredients going into its products. It tasted and smelled fine just 5 months ago, and I figure I should have gotten another 7 months or so out of this product that I believe was properly stored away from light and heat, right alongside my other spices. Watkins offered no suggested storage guidance on the bottle, so I guessed.I’d also like to mention that when this product was ingestible, it never tasted like butter. It just tasted like highly concentrated salt – but with a much shorter shelf life than salt. I would never recommend this product - but if you do purchase, try refrigerating it after opening. Instead, I would recommend butter flavored coconut oil sprinkled with simple Himalayan salt for a perfect movie theater snack. Try that instead.

Tastes like just salt
So overpriced for salt! Pros: has mostly good ingredients. cons: hardly has any butter flavor! Just tastes like salt! Also doesn’t stick to the popcorn, just ends up at the bottom of the bowl.
