Better than my curved 32
I actually bought this monitor to downsize from a curved 32 inch, which I had for a number of years. Despite everyone always thinking bigger is better, I opted to drop down my monitor size and am very happy I did. This size just seems much more comfortable to use, and although it's 1080p instead of 1440p, it's still very sharp and suits my needs, from gaming to productivity. I've had it a while now and have had no issues and am very happy with the purchase. Definitely recommend if this is the size & resolution you're looking for.

It functions well in it's intended role.
Good color, good brightness, has not yet broken. Image is properly clear and doesn't hurt my eyes as much as a few past monitors have. Nice and responsive, too.

Very Nice Monitor
I recently bought this monitor to go with my PC upgrade. I really wanted something that would provide good color, image clarity, and high refresh rate. For a budget gaming monitor, this is a very nice monitor and I really like it a lot. I think that this monitor is not only suitable for gaming, but would also make an excellent monitor for office use as well. The 165 hz refresh rate is a huge upgrade if you're used to gaming on 60 hz TV's or office monitors. The IPS panel gives a clear image with minimal ghosting, and the emulated HDR creates a better color depth than the built-in Windows HDR, in my opinion. I like using black modes in my browsers, and I think it emulates the colors quite well. While I'm used to using a 32 inch TV as my usual PC monitor, the 24" screen has grown on me and it hasn't been difficult to adjust to with the improvement in image quality. Although this monitor is locked at 1080p, it's very sharp and you will have no issues reading text or spotting things from a distance. The build quality is very nice. I work in an office, and I when I unboxed this I felt like I was unboxing a high quality Dell monitor (which makes sense, because BenQ used to manufacture parts for Dell). I don't mean this as a negative. The stand is sturdy and snaps in place securely, there is an option for AUX audio output, and you get a DisplayPort and 2 HDMI ports. The power supply is built into the monitor, so no bulky power supplies either; as it's built in the monitor itself.Overall, I definitely recommend this monitor. I love the smoothness of 165 hz, and even though you aren't getting 2k or 4k resolution, you are still getting very good image quality, color depth, and sharpness. If you're not looking to break the bank, but you want something to improve your PC gaming (or console gaming) experience, and even office work - this is a solid choice. I'm actually considering getting another one to use with a dual monitor setup.

Excellent and Durable
I give this product 5 stars, despite having only just ordered it a few minutes ago. This is due to the fact that my existing BenQ GW2750 monitor has, at long last, had the backlight give out, resulting in a somewhat usable but less than ideal experience and thus the order. Why 5 stars, you may ask?Because I've had the old one since March of 2014. Over ten years of near constant use, being left on overnight more often than not, and it only now shows any sign of not going strong. Having anything last that long is amazing these days, to say nothing of electronic devices. Obviously I would have placed the review on the appropriate model, but they don't make that model anymore. It helps that I got my wife the EX2710S some months ago and she is quite happy with it.You really can't go wrong with BenQ.

I saw some people complain about the brightness when the pixel is dark but the contrast is fine.
The media could not be loaded. I am very confident when I say that it is the best monitor in its price range.
