Nice big hat with solid brim, good for protection against magpies

I prefer wearing big hats, but I do wear facial sunscreen. I didn't believe how wide the brim really was, until I unfolded it. It is a huge hat! I do wish the crown was bigger for my big square head, but it works well. The first time I wore it, was a small town 4th of July festival. Shaded my head, neck and shoulders very well. The brim holds its shape. Not a heavy hat. I got compliments. Getting in and out of vehicles with it, takes a bit of work. Handwashing it will be a challenge. I decided I liked the color. Darker than I thought. Would be good in the rain!

The product is well made and offers an adjustable strap for better fit, as it runs large. The brim is super wide and should be great at blocking the sun. My only regret is the color is really dark gray, almost black.
