They came with extras which exceeded the purchased amount. The colors vibrant, came with different variety of sizes ranging from pregnant to babies. The quality wasn't the absolute best but very good for the price. It been months since I bought these and they have flourished in my tank, none have died and many have given birth since.

I’m fairly new to having shrimp in my aquarium and have never purchased live critters online, but went with this seller due to the good reviews. I was not disappointed. I ordered these when I knew we’d have a week of warm weather, since these had to ship from CA to MO. Shipping was pretty prompt so they were scheduled for delivery and arrived via UPS on Saturday, which was right in the middle of the estimated delivery window. They were packed extremely well in an insulated pouch and double bagged inside that. The bags were rubber banded and taped so really no chance of leakage. There was also some mesh for the shrimp to hang onto during shipping so they didn’t get too sloshed around. I included an “unboxing” video to show all of this. All of the shrimp were in excellent condition upon arrival, very energetic and vivacious. I ordered and received 10 (there’s a reflection in some of my pics so it looks like more, but I’m pretty sure there were exactly 10) and there were several babies too! Before their arrival, I checked my aquarium temp and PH to ensure it was hospitable for these little guys. There are instructions and recommendations included as well. I floated the bag to acclimate the temperature, then slowly added some aquarium water and dropped a couple shrimp food tabs in the bag so they could have dinner before entering their new home. They disappeared into the tank pretty quickly since there’s all sorts of places to hide and they may have been a little freaked out by the fish and frog in there, but I still see a few hanging out in the plants periodically. I’m excited to see how well these little guys do in my tank and whether the babies make it. The shrimp I do see seem to be healthy and thriving. I’m really pleased with these shrimp and the care taken by the seller to ensure they arrived safely. I hope I can provide a great home for these little guys and would purchase more from this seller in the future if I decide to add more to my tank.

TL;DR My Blue Dream Neocaridina were carefully packaged and arrived in under 2 days. They are thriving and reproducing. The package also contained water parameter recommendations, which is appreciated. I’m extremely happy with ShrimpRack and will buy from them again The details: I’m a long-time freshwater aquarist, but I never kept freshwater shrimp. I had an unused 10-gallon tank that was pleading for friends. My local fish stores didn’t have a good shrimp selection, so I turned to on-line sources. My order shipped immediately and arrived via USPS 2 days later. The shrimp were double bagged, in bubble wrap, including a small piece of green mesh for the poor critters to hang onto during their cross-country wild ride. Also included was a recommendation for temperature, pH, KH, GH, and other parameters. Upon opening the container, I found 11 shrimp, 1 of whom didn’t survive the trip. But I had purchased 10 and wasn’t disappointed. They are all around 1/2 inch. It appeared I received a mix of males and females based on the difference in tail width. None appeared berried. After a long drip acclimation, I introduced them to their forever home. Note: I had done my homework and had the tank running for a month beforehand, with copious amounts of Java moss, duckweed, small driftwood, oyster shells, and an almond leaf. I use a temperature controller and a small sponge filter/powerhead. There’s a small amount of aqua plant soil beneath the sand substrate. They’ve been very active and extremely interesting to watch. They never stop moving. Every other day I give them a treat of a sinking shrimp pellet or a quarter of an algae wafer. I’ve seen 3 molts that I leave in the tank for them to consume at their leisure. And today, after having them only 1 week, my daughter (whose eyesight greatly exceeds mine) called my attention to several teeny-tiny (less than 1/16 in) blue mini-me shrimp among the Java moss. I thought some were dead but once I added them to my tank they were all swimming around. I got a really good mix of colors, at least one of each color shown in the photos. They are all less than an inch in size but I don't care because they're healthy. Some are solid red, blue, orange or yellow and others are striped in these colors. A few came with eggs so we'll see what happens there. I definitely recommend and will buy from again.

Despite a delay in the delivery time, each shrimp arrived alive and well. Including the extra in case of accident, so I now have an extra one! The quality of the shrimp is less than desired but there are enough high-grade shrimp that it’s not too bad! Hopefully they get along with my Kuhlis and other neocaridina.

11 shrimp arrived alive and healthy. We even got an albino shrimp in the bag! We had some babies, fast forward I only have 5 shrimp I’m not sure what happened to them. I would buy again because the price is much better than our local aquatic stores.
