Turner Concentrated Professional Artists' Watercolor Paint 15ml Tube - Sprout

I feel like these might be a counterfeit item. The paints don’t flow - these just don’t behave in the way you want a quality watercolor to behave. I bought this small sampler to try based on am artist i like before investing in a larger set due to price. Disappointed

The masking fluid works just as it should. It went onto the paper easily and dried reasonably quickly. I removed it with my remover eraser in the morning which was a joy, NO TORN WATERCOLOR PAPER! The residue on the eraser was pretty easy to remove as well. I washed my brush immediately after applying the masking fluid and it washed out of the brush, in fairly warm water, almost immediately as I pulled the dried bits from the tips of the brush. I am very happy with both masking fluid and the eraser remover. Ergo, the 5 stars!

This masking fluid is exactly as advertised. It dries quickly, but the thin texture allows it to go on smooth and in fine detail which is exactly what I needed for my watercolor. It comes wrapped in about 3 layers of bubble wrap so the glass jar doesn't break and got here safely, quickly, and without any issues. It dries a soft yellow that is almost transparent and doesn't leave any discoloration on the paper. Because I store my masking fluid upside down to prevent excess drying the flat jar top makes for a prefect solution rather than tall, thin, or strange shaped bottles. When I am done with this pot I will likely order a new one if it's still available.

These were my first set of professional watercolors a couple years ago and I love them. I have other brands of professional watercolors now and I still find myself going back to these a lot. They are wonderful paints and a great price, you really can't go wrong with these.

These are okay. I saw someone using them to paint such a beautiful photo and the paints seemed great, having them in my hands was a little different.Some of the colors seem streaky, and the maya red is SO weak. I actually despise that maya red, it's my paint enemy. Besides that, the color selection is okay. I would have liked a quinacridone magenta somewhere in there.Before you use them I would spritz with water, because I feel like you have to work the paints with a wet brush to get a good color payoff. Getting them damp before hand really helps.So these are okay overall, not terrible, but they aren't going to be my main set of paints. I'll probably use them for practice. I am going to stick with my QoR watercolor set by Golden because THOSE are truely amazing.

I LOVE the color Jaune Brilliant Red Shade!! It’s the PERFECT color for Watercolor Painting; whether you are painting Florals, Landscapes or Portraits.This particular brand mixes beautifully with all of my other brands of paint and this color is lovely to use alone as well!I’d searched for this particular “peachy” color and once I found it, I ordered a second tube!!!You won’t be disappointed! I know I am Thrilled to have found it!!!

It does what it's supposed to, covers well & doesn't dry out the way some other brands I've used do. Also it's white and doesn't leave colored stains behind on my watercolor paper the way brands with color sometimes do.

The size and color selection of these paints are great for beginning watercolor artists, such as myself. I can practice to my heart's content and once I am more experienced, I will order the larger size paint kits. Great quality and price
