I purchased this genuine leather, lightweight leash, to do some leash training with my 11 lb dog. It's perfect, and as mentioned, it's genuine leather.

Love this leash/collar. It is small enough I can put in my pocket or purse. I was afraid that it might not be sturdy enough for my dog (12 lb toy Australian Shepherd) but it is very sturdy. I bought several and put one in my truck one in my car one by door and one in my purse. They are very handy. I live in rural/country area and my dog doesn’t wear a collar due to one time he got collar caught on a stick and now I worry about him getting caught on something and hurting himself if he wears collar so this is perfect for me. It’s very practical and suits my purpose. It’s not beautiful but is nice looking and very handy. I highly recommend.

I bought the smallest version of these leashes. I was looking for something to quickly slip over the heads of my two small yorkies when we go out first thing in the morning. Finding the D-ring on their collars and then clipping the leashes on were steps I was looking to eliminate. I also wanted to avoid using a leash with a snap because the weight of the snap would pull the D-ring on the collar down to its lowest point causing the leashes to end up getting caught between the dogs’ legs. I was constantly untangling them. This happens far less often with the slip lead. These leashes are light, soft, supple, and comfortable to hold. They were exactly what I was looking for for what I thought was a very reasonable price.
