High quality darts board, only seen 1 dart “bounce out” from hundreds of shots taken. Easy to mount, ensure that is at the correct height, this info is on the excellent leaflet supplied with the board. What I love about this board are the different and distinct sounds you hear depending on where on the board your shots land, obviously this will change depending on what type of wall or surface it is mounted on. Ours is on a stud wall, so it sounds amazing - just like it does on TV! We got lucky. Different sound in the bull, doubles and triples’ beds, also outside of the scoring zones. It’s quite heavy at around 5 kg but solid. The blade tech ensures all shots stay in the board and beds, the upper surface is soft so darts don’t leave permanent holes. The subsurface is more dense and that holds the dart tip and further reduces the probability of bounce outs. It still looks brand new. On the flip side - this all does come at a cost - the wire between beds is extremely narrow so sometimes difficult to see where a dart tip is sometimes , especially when using heat treated or coated dart tips, dark in colour. So, think about access to good natural light when mounting. It’s an expensive board but you can see where the money went. Only gripe is the scoring ring mountings are quite large so if you hit those - that’s when you get still rate, bounces. I wished those were slightly smaller and they could put a few more of them on the ring. Highly recommend this classic and fun board. It’s a beauty.

Great quality board much like the blade 5 dual core. It pays to have a dual core rather than single core and they generally last longer. The triple core version is good also but I find the main benefit of the triple core is that it’s a bit quieter. I got a soundproofing wall and it doesn’t make much difference. Highly recommended over single core if it’s a little bit more expensive.

Bought to replace an old used board that had been given to us when our boys were younger, now they are both in late teens and we are by no means a professional dart playing family but enjoy throwing a few darts on an evening as a fun social get together. This board is brilliant, we play with steel tips and it holds the darts well, was easy to put up (we have hung on a door in converted garage to utility room with double thickness cardboard as a backing ! - saving up for a surround), it has three adjustable levellers on the reverse which used in conjunction with a spirit level means you can set the face of the board correctly. A paced out piece of masking tape on the floor and we were good to go in less than half an hour. Great quality board same as the professionals and value for money.
