Good to have around the house

What is fantastic about this nails and hammer set is not only the number and variety of long, sturdy nails, but the nails all come in a clear plastic container where each type of nail is sorted and clearly identified. The clear plastic container has an extra latch on one side as well as a latch in front. This set also has a short but heavy hammer. I have to admit that I'm used to and prefer using a longer and heavier hammer that I already have although the hammer in this set is quite handy. This set has over 900 nails - far more than I expect any home would need. However, I can now be 'that person' with a well organized hardware nail set for hanging pictures and other items. My rating is 5 stars.

This handy little set is near perfect for leaving in the junk drawer where my wife can easily get exactly the nail she needs without having to venture into the garage - shop area. I was skeptical that the little hammer was more than a gimmick but it really has some heft and work well .

The small hammer is very handy for small fixes. There are 10 different nail sizes that I can choose to fix my chair. I ended up using the medium length. It takes me about 7 hits to get the nail in since I couldn't aim right. My daughter actually loves this hammer more than me. We have been trying to do some nailing fun. She has been enjoying helping so far.

This is a nice, well organized kit to have at home to save you a trip to the hardware store in a pinch. At almost 1000 pieces you have an assortment of steel nails from short to long as well as flathead and rounded head.Also included is a comfortable and compact hammer. It won't replace a full size hammer, but it is handy and ergonomic for smaller jobs where you don't necessarily need the power of a full swing with a bigger hammer.The rubber handle is grippy and easy to hold and the head has a magnetic insert which allows you to hold a nail for your repairs.I used a few various sized nails to fix some wood wall trim that became loose in the kitchen and bathroom. These nails performed well without any deforming on impact or breaking. They stayed straight and properly drove into the walls without a hitch.Upon further inspection of the various sizes and styles you likely will find a few manufacturing duds. I did find a few that were badly bent or missing a head. But that was only a few, however and the others looked fine.All in all, this is a neatly organized kit for basic home repair nails with a decent compact magnetic hammer. They performed well inside the house and will likely save me a trip to the store in a future. Recommended!

Great for hanging pictures and wall art in the house

This set includes a hammer and a box of nails in several different sizes.The hammer measures just over 6” long. It looks and feels sturdy and durable. It has a textured rubber handle, which allows for strong and secure grip. I’ve used it several times already and had no issues with its performance.The nails come in a plastic container with compartments for the different sizes of the nails. I find the box very handy for keeping the nails organized and for having an easy access to the size of the nail I’m looking for. I’ve used a few nails already for hanging wall decor and some other small fixing projection inside the house and there were no problems with their performance. However, when I looked through the nails when I received them I found 3 rusty nails in the box. Two were severely rusted and one had a rusty head. Three bad nails in 930 doesn’t seem like a very bad thing so I’m only docking a star but seeing any rust in my new box of nails wasn’t something I expected to see.
