Q: Is the filter washable and if not, where do i get more?

Washing filters has shown to reduce effectiveness by 40-60%, I highly recommend just replacing filters if you want the device to work at a 100% level.

Q: Does this purifier produce ozone?

No this unit does not produce ozone per its California Air Resources Board certification. Please type "Puro Air" in the below link for proof that this unit does not emit any ozone per the California Air Resources Board certification the unit has received. "Air cleaners that are listed as "Electronic" may be capable of generating small amounts of ozone, but have been tested and found to produce an ozone emission concentration less than 0.050 parts per million. Q: Is there a filter included in the purchase

Yes, there is a yellow tag on top of unit that reminds you to remove plastic wrap from filter before use.

Q: How long do the filters generally last?

We have had our Purifier for about a month and the filter still appears pretty clean. We have 2 dogs and a cat, I will probably replace our filter around the 3-4 month point. In general I would think most filters would last 3-6 months depending on pets or location. A dry dusty area or musty area would make a difference in what kind of particles will go through your filter. I would suggest checking monthly like you do a home furnace filter.
