Nice casting for low price.
Very light weight and casts very well with a furled line. I have not tried level line yet. Great quality so far for relatively low price compared to American brands. Shipping time was estimated to be 16 days to USA and it actually arrived in 7 days.

A very nice rod....BUT, they break very easily.
This is a fantastic rod. I'm in my 2nd year of Tenkara....with 5 rods in my possession and this one (6:4 #3207) is neck and neck at the top with my ONI (much more expensive) rod. I highly recommend it to you....as I've done for many Tenkara friends. The only downside is these break very easily...and getting parts from Japan can be VERY expensive...especially the postage, which can be $30 for one section alone.

Phenomenal Tenkara Rod
This is a great, well balanced and lightweight Tenkara rod. I had heard Nissin is a reputable Tenkara rod company, and wow, even this almost entry level rod (they have a less expensive model as well) is made really well. It’s lighter and softer than my Filson, from Tenkara Rod Co (which had the same specs as the Sawtooth when I bought it), I’ve been using, and much more balanced. It’s amazing what a difference just 1 oz will make when it’s in your hand all day.I fish in a smaller mountain creek with a lot of cover, so the 320/270 works great. The majority of the time I’m fishing in the 270 cm length. Both lengths are soft and cast really well, but it takes me a few casts to get adjusted every time I switch lengths. Both lengths handle fish really well. Since it is soft, I’ve had to put in a conscious effort to set the hook, but even the little 4”/5” rainbows are fun on this rod. I’m using 3.5 level line and 5x tippet all of the time. The tip plug sits perfectly flush to the walls of the carbon fiber, so there isn’t enough room to plug the tip with the lilian out with the line attached (the Filson/Sawtooth I have has this feature which is really nice), so I just purchased a universal tip cap, I believe from DragonTail, to protect my tip sections while hiking. The bottom plug doesn’t have a drain hole either, and it’s plastic, but this hasn’t been an issue (Tenkara Rod Co has drain holes, and rubber in the metal end cap so it’s nice when the rod is packed away). These little details are nothing in comparison to the pleasure it is to fish with this rod.I’ll definitely be getting the big brother to this rod, the 360 cm, version for the day I see some bigger water, but for that one I’ll probably get the 7:3, for a little more rigidity since I’m assuming I’ll see bigger fish. My friend has the 360 - 7:3 version and it’s still more flexible then my Filson 5:5 and casts really well.I’ve added some photos with my set up and the cover I’m dealing with. Also some rainbows because it’s a blast to catch these beautiful little fish in this rod.

disappointed
After reading all the positive reviews about the PRO SPEC 2WAY, I decided to order and also wanted to try the 7:3 action. A few weeks later i got my order and waited for a month before using it. It snapped after second cast. Too bad that I cannot return it or get a replacement "rod section" some how. I'm very disappointed.

Great rod.
Bought this instead of the tenkara USA rhodo to save a little money. Knowing that the rod is designed and manufactured by nissin who has been making tenkara rods forever I knew the product would be good quality. The rod itself is very high quality and casts beautifully. High praise for the shipper too for great packaging to make sure the rod arrived to the USA from Japan unharmed!

Light and tough
Beautiful build. Light. Perfect pan fish bass rod. Throwing sz8 and lower flies. Muscled a 1 lb LM out of cover on 5x tippet at the local community overflow pond. Fun.
