I’ve been struggling with histamine intolerance for a while, and this DAO supplement really helps! I take one capsule before meals, and I can finally enjoy foods that used to trigger reactions. This has good histamine reducing results per capsule. It's inexpensive in a pinch but is only a few weeks worth if you take it daily.

I've only taken this a few times and have had what seems to be an allergic reaction every time I've taken this. And thats with opening the capsule and only taking 1/4-1/2 of a serving. I finally had to stop and research why this would be happening with a product that should be reducing allergic reactions! I started looking at the reviews and seeing that this is sourced from pork, which I am allergic to. Is this true? If so, it should be stated. Either way, the source of the supplement should be stated. For someone experiencing extreme histamine symptoms, this is awful to go through. The seller has a 365 day return window yet amazon says I can't return it. So I'm on here writing a review hoping the seller will make it right since I have no other way to contact them.

If you are like me, you are taking a multitude of medications and supplements to treat your MCAS/POTS/Dysautonomia/ETC. It has become clear this disease effects people differently which is why it is so difficult to find a one size fits all plan for recovery. Adding to this, what works one month may not work the next bc your symptoms change very quickly. What I can say about this product is before I started taking my current regimen of medications and supplements, I could not eat 99% of the things I attempt to digest. It has been like this for almost a decade. I started taking this supplement and Cromolyn, and now I can eat about 80% of the things I want. Yes. I cried. Alot. How do I know it is because of this supplement and this supplement alone? I think at this point it would be foolish for any of us to think after years of suffering, it is only going to take one little pill to make us normal. IDT we will ever know what normal is ever again. I can say that I am confident that this supplement is a part of a regimen that works for me that has enabled me to eat pizza at night with my wife as we watch Game of Thrones (she hasn't seen it yet - so no spoilers! :) I ran out this week and with it being Christmas week, I got behind on re-ordering so I haven't taken it this week and I have thrown up my dinner twice sooooo using that data, one can extrapolate that with the supplement I am able to keep pizza down. Without it, I vomit. Needless to say, I am re-upping. I did not have any side effects taking this supplement daily for a month. All I felt was a increase in health benefits ranging from increased food choice to less exhaustion.
