The Bodyguard - Original Soundtrack Album

I very rarely give 5 stars to movie soundtracks, but this one so deserves it. We all know the Whitney Houston songs (they are all good, my favorite is 'Queen of the Night) but the other songs are wonderful as well. My favorite has to be the Joe Cocker, Sass Jordan song called "Trust In Me" How this song never became a top 40 radio hit is a mystery to me. It has all the elements to be a top 40 hit song, great production and a catchy chorus line. Joe Cocker and Sass Jordan play well off each other and Joe's vocals are strong but not over bearing as he sometimes can be.Also, the instrumental song by Alan Silvestri is well done too. This soundtrack is definitely one of the best of all time.

What can you say about one of the Greatest Artists of all time. I had this on a cassette disc ( yes, I did say cassette disc LOL !! ) when it first came out after the movie and listened to it all the time. My all time Favorite on this CD " Queen Of The Nile " She absolutely Rocked that song in the movie. I have her I Will Always Love You The Best Of Whitney Houston that came out after she passed and it's Fabulous. Every time I listen to it I can't believe that she is really gone but when I listen now, I smile, because now she's with "The Love Of Her Life".......Her Daughter.

An amazing soundtrack for an amazing movie. Whitney Houston's featured songs are as powerful as you'd imagine them to be. Whitney in her prime! The other songs featured I believe were also in the movie and when they play you find yourself being taken directly to their scene. I love The Bodyguard theme! Awesome music.

I loved the movie and I love this sound track album. Whitney really shows not only her talent as an actress, but also blew me away with her beautiful voice. I loved all her vocals on this sound track as I know you will too! I was so heartbroken when I heard the news of her passing at such a young age. God's choir has gained a beautiful singer, and we have lost one. They'll never be another Whitney Houston. No one can compare to her, or her beautiful voice. She was so very talented. Kevin Costner cradled the voice in this movie yet bowed down to let her shine! No dis to any other singer whose talent was given to this soindtrack but this is truly Whitney's Soundtrack.We saw her soul on this cd,her voice took us to the mountaintops.And her version of Jesus Loves Me takes all us to church! This soundtrack is a jewel! Kevin Costner thanks 4 believing in the Voice..this cd truly is a legend!

God bless Whitney Houston. Whatever frailties she had in life, cannot be matched to her audacious singing, and acting abilities in this movie. Along with Kevin Kostner, these two are a match made in Heaven. I love the entire movie, but Whitney's voice in singing the music adapted for this movie, is outstanding. I could just listen to her all day. Although we have lost her, she was, and still is a tremendous actress, and one of the greatest singers we have ever been blessed with. R.I.P Whitney.

This album is one of my favorites. It includes a lot of Whitney’s classics recorded in very high audio quality. Crank it up!

I hadn’t noticed this was the CD before ordering, I thought it was the DVD, had I have realised I wouldn’t have ordered. Shall not be used, it cannot be returned (had I known this also at the time then I would not have ordered it).

An all time classic - including the 'parting' track at the end of the movie that is frequently played at weddings - 'I will always love you'.

Bought this after seeing it on terrestrial TV as is a real good movie and sound track can watch an listen to multiple times

Bought as a present for my wife after she went to see the stage play. She likes it and has the CD permanently in her car.

Went to see the film several times when it was released. Finally got around to buying the soundtrack as many of the songs/tunes are regularly played on Smooth radioCame promptly and in good condition
