Another class and trying to get it done

Good book

I read this book for one of my ordination classes and absolutely loved it. In regards to a topic like preaching, structure is key in making the book readable. Long accomplished this through and through.

Excellent advice for new and experienced preachers. An updated classic that brings in some consideration of technology as part of the preaching event. I’m using this book as my text to teach Homiletics and highly recommend it.

This is required for my Preaching 1 class at Concordia Seminary. Nice to have it in electronic form... searchable too. Also like the Kindle price. Blessings from Vicar Bill!

Excellent, one of the best books I read on the subject of preaching

All the basics are here. It was recommended reading for my university course on preaching.

This book is very readable, I can't put it down. So very helpful to my studies to be a Methodist Local Preacher - great book and very informative.

A very comprehensive book, with a lot of good ideas. I found it useful as a starting point for learning how to preach. That said, maybe don't devour the book like I was forced to do for a class! Take your time with it and you might enjoy it more!
