I ordered these for work with my fingers crossed. We had a whiteboard that was supposed to be magnetic, but the magnets we ordered did not stick to it. We needed to map out resources for the various projects we were working on - people, equipment, etc. I bought these intending to use them with dry-erase markers, but it turns out they are so plentiful, I don't need to reuse them. I ended up cutting them in 1 inch strips with a paper cutter so that we could fit more items on the board. They are super thin but seem to be durable, and I can easily move them around on the board. They tend to smear a little when you write on the colored side, but I used a sharpie and gave them a few minutes to dry and they were fine.

They really do stick to a lot of surfaces! So far I haven’t found a surface that they won’t stick to. The dry erase side wipes off well. Great purchase!

I ordered these thinking that the colored side is dry erase since all the pictures show writing on the colored side. They are not. The colored side is permanent even with dry erase marker. The white side is dry erase. Kind of a waste of money, the all white ones like these are much cheaper. They do “cling” somewhat but DO NOT STICK. If you bump them at all they will move out of place. I expected something more like the holiday window clings. Very disappointed however I used one to test it and since I wrote on the colored side it’s ruined and I can’t return. Waste of $16.Update: The company refunded my money and also updated the item to reflect the correct information. They refunded my money quickly, I just waited until the listing was updated to edit my review. I still don’t like how easily they move but I’m sure it will come in handy for many people. The customer service was exceptional though.

These electrostatic notes are incredible - I've placed them on every surface in the office (including the office plant) and they are holding up just fine. I've used gel, marker, felt tip, ink and pencil, and happy with the results. These notes stay put when you place them in books, or in stacked pages (they don't stick to the page above it). They also adhere nicely to exposed brick, upholstered cubicle walls, and corkboards.

Dropping down to 1 star.After using these, or attempting to use these, sadly they are worse than normal sticky notes because they just don’t work. The static clingability might work, once. But once you take it down, it will never cling anywhere else again, so you might as well throw it away. Similarly, I find that a few that I purposefully wrong on the permanent side also won’t “cling” after about a week. They just fall from the surface they are on & will never cling anywhere else again. I could tape them up, but what would be the point?So… I will now use these as single use notes, toss them when I’m done & call it a day. Don’t buy these. They do not work as advertised, which is a bummer because they are a great idea.——————Original post:Are these erasable? Yes. Are they usable after you erase them? Not really.Unless you erase the note moments after you write it, you can kiss that particular note goodbye. To get it properly erased damages the note. I’ve tried multiple brands of pens & methods of erasure with the same results.These little notes DO stick wherever I want them, which is lovely, but they aren’t saving me any paper & I'm not even sure if I can recycle them like regular paper so in the end, it feels extra wasteful, which is what I was trying to avoid.

These are not like the regular post-it notes with an adhesive on one side. These cling to the surface you put them on. They are kind of staticky, in which that’s why they cling to a surface. If you don’t rub your hand over them when you lay them down on the surface, they will not cling. For that I could give them a full 5 star rating. It is a good value for the money.
