Correct thread size
If you have an old VP gallon, this is the right one. The thread size is the same.

Great replacement
The filler neck on the gas can I bought at Rural King eventually needed replacing. I looked around and finally decided on this one. It’s of better quality than the original but I do think it’s a little overpriced for what it is. That said, it is flexible enough to fill tanks, seems durable and has a metal fuel screen in the neck, which is something most don’t have. If it develops any issues, I’ll update my review.

Fuel nozzle
This nozzle goes great with my VP racing fuel tank. It does exactly what it needs to do it seems like it's sturdy and I like the cap and once you put it in the tank you never have to take it out again. I highly recommend it to go with your VP racing fuel tank.
