Kind of bought this on a whim. I like strong coffee, it's a long winter (after a long year), and I needed something new for me weary brain to think about. Ordered some Kurukahveci Mehmet Efendi Turkish Coffee, some cardamom pods and some cinnamon quills at the same time. Watched a few vids to learn how to do it (there are several methods, I'm not sure how much difference it makes).Used it twice so far. It's a very nicely done set, the craftsmanship is impressive, particularly for the price. The copper appears to be a little thin (it seems to be copper plating over something else, probably tin), but I can't imagine it wearing off anytime soon, particularly if the set is washed and handled properly. I was a little concerned on opening to see only one ceramic cup, but there are two in the cup holders (packed with paper), so you actually get three (in case one breaks I guess, which seems unlikely, they are sturdy).The good news is, making Turkish coffee is fun. And productive. I had a cup, then painted the house, cleaned all the carpets, read War and Peace and rebuilt the lawn mower engine, all before the second cup was cold.In all seriousness, I can heartily recommend this set. I'll be looking into figuring out the best way to grind beans to the powder consistency, but for now the pre-ground coffee seems quite good to me.

Bought a set about a year ago as a gift for my aunt & ever since wanted one as well. It was unavailable for some time but I finally got it & absolutely love it. Both my aunts & my set are different in design which makes it all the more unique.

This is an amazing piece of art. It's more than just a coffee set. Very pleased and it wasd a wonderfully thoughtful gift i will use for decades and eventually pass on to my children.
