I used a sheet of greenhouse plastic to cover my above-ground pool. On first pulling the plastic over the pool, I snagged a section on the pool lip and tore a ragged hole about 3" long in. Using this tape, I patched the hole with a piece on the top and another underneath. It sits on water underneath and gets rained on top, but the tape never leaks! It's been there all summer and sticks great. Later, I cut the corners from the square plastic and added them to the sides to make the shape more round to fit my pool. That required a 6 to 8-foot-long splice using this tape and I only taped the top, not the bottom. It still worked great and holds up to the water and the daily stress of pulling on and off the plastic from the pool. This is the most robust tape I've seen.

We use this on our greenhouses and it does the job. We keep extra on hand at all times

If you are thinking this is the "seen on TV" expensive stuff you'll be wrong. That stuff is thick and you pay dearly for a little bit. This is more economical. It is very thin and wants to roll when you cut it so you have to plan or have help to keep it from sticking to itself. It does seem to stick to the plastic sheeting well. No idea how long it will last, but so far, it has held up over a weekend. It will do what I need it to for now. I would buy again for quick repairs to unstressed areas.

This is a good product. It gets a bit awkward to tape hold and cut by myself.It sticks well I use a bit of cleaning strength vinegar let it dry and this sticks down really well. I've stapled through it and it holds up.

Very sticky initially but didn't last. Started coming off after first rain

When I built my plastic covered cattle panel greenhouse, I ordered this, just in case. I was thinking tree branches and storms. When spring came and I was moving the over wintered peppers outside, I picked up a potted pepper plant that had a stake in it to help the pepper plant stand up. Well, as I stood up, I heard a pop! I had stuck that stake right through the greenhouse plastic ! I was sure happy that I had the means to repair the hole before it got bigger.

I made a hoop house type of greenhouse to shelter my plants. In past years, I have used the thickest plastic sheeting that I could locate at our local big Box home center. Also, I used duck tape. Using greenhouse, specific, plastic film, and the appropriate adhesive tape makes all the difference! My greenhouse is well anchored, but I can say that it withstood 60 mile an hour straight line winds for about 30 minutes with absolutely no damage. I’m pleased with the product.

Got this tape to replace the ugly duck tape I had previously put on any tears and to seal the Velcro flap windows on my greenhouse during the cold season. Looks good and is thick. But the adhesive just isn't strong enough and after a few days was already coming off in a few places. May work in the summertime but not in the winter time. Going to find another type of tape with better adhesion.
