Thought I would give the underdog a chance and this product I have to say is fantastic. My new B12 replacement.

This is a reasonable strength B12 supplement, which comes in a small tablet form. The tablets have a chalky texture, but are easy to swallow with fluid, with no discernable aftertaste.They come supplied in a bottle with screw top lid, but this is far too big for the 30 tablets inside and would have been better packaged in blister packs.At time of review these are also very expensive at just under £11, which is roughly 37p per tablet, so they are not the cheapest or best value for money.

Unfortunately this arrived opened with some of the tablets missing. I had to return it and not confident in making another purchase.

The “B12 Plus Tablets” from NutraVit is a bottle of thirty B12 supplement tablets for taking once a day.As a vegetarian/sometimes vegan my partner has taken B12 supplements fairly regularly for the past 10-20 years. She absolutely feels the benefit of the supplements when she does take them, experiencing far less fatigue and an overall added boost of energy. She says she certainly notices it when she’s not taken them and as such her B12 intake is far lower.The packaging on these states it’s recommended that you take one of the tablets a day. As such, with the bottle only containing 30 tablets, these work out to be far more expensive than other better-known brands. That said, the B12 dosage of these is good when compared with these other brands (which offer more tablets but at a lower dose).As for the rest of what to say about the tablets – well, they’re as easy to swallow down as any other supplement tablet. They do seem to work about as well as any other B12 supplement tablet.Interesting they proudly advertise their vegetarian status. Should they be vegan, I’m sure they’d be highlighting this increased status instead. As such, one can only assume the supplements aren’t therefore vegan-friendly. This is probably down to the addition of Vitamin D3 which is often derived from an animal source such as sheep’s wool.

I’m using these to replace a high-street brand I’ve been using for a while now. The ingredients are similar so I don’t mind switching.These are a good size, easy to swallow, smell fine and don’t have an awful taste. Very conveniently packed and the brand makes some reassuring quality promises! All in all, a good supplement.

Can barely tolerate these which are absolutely revolting to the taste and seem to stick to my mouth like nothing ordinary.

As I progress through the years I have to say that my energy levels aren't what they used to be. I can't say whether the NUTRAVIT B12 Plus tablets are going to make much difference but it's worth a try. I think that's the problem with supplements, vitamins and the like, it's so difficult to know whether you are actually benefitting from them. However, I do think that because of my lifestyle there are a few obvious vitamins to try and B12 in definitely one of them. With these B12 tablets you get additional vitamin C, D and Folate... can't be bad.There's only one month's supply in this product but the dosage is high strength. However, at £11 for the 30 tablets I would hope to see at least some benefit by the end of the 30 days which is when I will need to decide whether to continue and purchase more tablets. I am very pleased to see that the tablets are made in the UK, that's quite important to me.It's early days as yet but if I start jumping around like a Spring lamb I will get back to you!! I should be so lucky.I have some slight reservations about the cost of the NUTRAVIT which is the only reason I am giving them a 4 Star rating.

You receive 1 months supply (30) tablets in the container. I was surprised at the size of the container because on opening it had a large piece of foam in the bottle. Then in the bottom were the small tablets. They really could have used a smaller container to save on wasting plastic.The tablets are easy to swallow and leave no after taste. After a few days of taking I did feel a little less tired but at the price for such a small amount, it's going to take a few weeks to feel any long term effects.
