Help for the bones for my horses. Recommended by my veterinarian

I have a rescue mare in her 20's. She was very sore when she came to me and then became even worse when she developed Cushings and foundered. I was giving her two grams of butte daily plus a vet recommended supplement for joint pain and other arthritis issues. She was not responding to the butte and supplement in a satisfactory way. She continued to get more sore and her walking was becoming so difficult for her I was nearing the decision to put her down and relieve her suffering. A friend who is a highly regarded professional trainer convinced me to try Cosequin. After reading up on Cosequin I chose the ASU version to try. Within four weeks there was noticeable improvement in her movement and by six weeks she was a different horse. While she still has some soreness, she moves all over her pasture including up and down hills with ease. Any thought of putting her down is long gone. She's happy and even jogs to her grain on occasion. I have reduced her butte to one gram a day for the last four weeks and am about to eliminating it to see if she can do without it - I believe she'll do fine on the Cosequin ASU by itself based on her far better than expected response to the product. I am thrilled for this old mare. I highly recommend giving Cosequin products a try. They may not work as well on every horse, but by all means worth a try.

This was bought for my 17 year old dog. His back legs are giving out on him, and I am trying to buy us more time together. He ate it last night, so I'm hoping to continue hiding it in his meat treats... This brand helped my 33 year old horse. Maybe it'll help this fur baby too

Product is good. But like eveything else they raise the price and give less product., last order was supposed to last 80 days only got 60. Not happy

I am a 65 yr old physically active woman with a few aches and pains in my left knee and hip. I tried this product when the vet recommended Cosequin ASU for my horse and I realized my dog was also on the canine formulation, Dasuquin. Cosequin actually has scientific evidence showing effectiveness in horses, and my dog had improved on the Dasuquin recommended by a small animal vet. So, I was thrilled to find the human version, Cosemin. It did seem to ease the left sided joint/tendon issues, and so I really tried to stay on it. Unfortunately it gave me rip-roaring heartburn, not relieved significantly by omeprazole. This side effect is listed in bold letters on the package insert. Darn it!
