I have a number of different continuous lighting fixtures and most of them work well. But I found this light to be best bang for your buck, considering its versatility. It's an outstanding light performing as I need it to. Somethings to be aware of: The application works well, but I had a bit of trouble with a firmware update. If you choose to do any firmware updates I'd suggest trying to connect to it to see if it works. If it doesn't connect anymore, just remember to delete the app and reinstall it. In the end everything works it is supposed to and I am pleased.

I wasnt looking to replace my strobes but these very powerful lights could come close. More importantly they’re extremely powerful for video and super flexible in uses. Light up the entire back wall, or low with the soft box for portraits. And one main reason I chose these versus the spotlights is that these have built in battery support which will charge when plugged in. I already plan to use these with the batteries. Also has built in special effects as well as variable color modes. So you can go from cool LED to bicolor to full spectrum color. Even match the background from the phone app using the camera and it will match the light in the room.

I’m really enjoying the slide however when it was shipped, it came with a black scuff on the soft box wasn’t too happy when I saw that which I don’t think will affect the lighting but still it’s the fact that it looks dirty and it had a black stain on it… not too pleasant of a surprise after paying $350 for it. It’s been a nice light and has been used in different situations.

I use this much more than I expected. Just bought a second.

Excellent light for photo and video. You can make your own preferanses/effects and save them as presets. The app is just fantastic. You can pick and match any colour in your envirement etc etc ... !

Fit for small spaces and strong enough

I own 3 of these, and 3 of the non RGB model. Almost $2000 of lighting. They all eventually do the same thing: stop working. None of my lights connect to the app anymore. They work for a few weeks then break. You can’t reset the Bluetooth, it doesn’t work. Customer service is terrible on top of that. I tried contacting them about my last batch of lights, and they wouldn’t fix them without me sending them at my own expense to China. Absurd! All in all, the lighting performance is great, but if you want any of the features that are almost impossible to access without the app, get ready to get screwed.

The hardware itself is astounding with crazy high output and very accurate colors but the app disconnects frequently and takes 6 seconds to reconnect. In contrast the GVM connect in 1 second and never fail. Not acceptable on set. Return.

Es un producto excelente, pero tiene 3 cosas que deberían ser de mejor calidad por el precio: 1) se monta sobre un rosca estándar, lo que implica que a veces la luz de gira y cambia de posición; 2) el difusor que viene incorporado no es suficiente para evitar múltiples sombras de cada led, recién al agregar un paraguas se logra una fuente de luz verdaderamente uniforme; 3) podría ser un poquito más silencioso o tener un modo “fan off”, aunque se deba reducir su potencia, de tal forma de poder usarlo en set muy pequeños sin “contaminar” el audio. El resto de la lampara es excelente, se siente sólida y funciona a la perfección.
