These come small... but are comfortable and sturdy
Great hiking boots. Hard to put on and take off, but I think that is for support.Make sure to get at least 1 size larger than you think.

skinny jeans for the feet
These shoes would have been my fifth pair of Vaque hiking/approach shoes over the years, but for the first time--unbelievably narrow.I have slightly wide feet, but the Vasque Juxt shoes I've just worn out fit great. Something I had before them fit great. Two pair of Vasque Sedona shoes before that fit great.Too bad. I like the looks of them.

Not expected quality
I’ve worn a size 10M for over 50 years. These are way too small and did not seem to be of the same quality I’ve had with 3 previous pair of Vasques.

I expected better
Having been a fan a Vasque in the past, I expected a quality product. Sadly I was disappointed. The liner feels and sounds like a plastic bag and breathes about the same, despite it being touted as “breathable”. My socks are usually damp after wearing them for a couple hours, despite never having that problem with other shoes. I’ve preferred Vasques in the past due to their narrow design, since I have a low volume foot. But these are on the border of painful - even after going up a size. And since they don’t offer half sizes in the larger range, it’s really limiting. In addition to this, the fabric pull on the back began to fray after two weeks of casual use. Overall an ok shoe, but not for the price or compared to some competitors.

Like a heavy turf shoe but a little narrow
Update to 5 stars. Size 11M is a true 11M after a few miles of breaking in. These are very comfortable and a secure foundation. They feel better than my Merrill mocs and only slightly heavier. To me these are great for baseball coaching. I don't run so can't say they are an athletic shoe but I'll never slip. I'm thinking they would be great for golf as well.

Not the Fit I Expected
I have been using Vasque boots for 20 years. Loved them. I am replacing a lightweight hiker from Vasque - loved them. These are narrower then the old Vasque. The heel is inexplicable. The last is made such that one pronates! The heel pocket has this low point on the inside of the heel. There is a high arch on the outside of the shoe. I ordered three versions of this shoe to find one I liked - one Gortex, one light, one non-Gortex. Two of the shoes had serious issues with the heel having a low point and a high point on the outside of the shoe. This was the worst. Reading through recent reviews of all three shoes on Amazon, I have found a few comments which make the same note. It must be a QC issue. Not worth the money.
