This was great for coffee in the morning. I’ve never used a percolator before, but the knob at the top definitely helped with realizing it was ready. It was a good weight to it. Easy to clean. hopefully won’t rust.

I used it for camping very convenient heatin water for coffee and something else.

We use this coffee pot daily on our kitchen stove. Tired of pots claiming to hold 8 cups, meaning forty ounces. We use 12 oz mugs, so a typical pot holds roughly 3 1/2 mugs-not enough for a couple who do their daily bonding over a hot mug o’ Joe. This simple, handsome pot holds the days beverage. It’s easy to wash, sturdier than our last similar pot, and is perfect for our needs. There is a metal attachment between the lid and the handle, however, that may well succumb to use before the rest of the assemblage. It is a clip that can be widened ‘narrowed as needed to close pot properly. Because it needs to be malleable, the repeated handling of this softer metal piece feels as though it will at some point snap from being forced open/closed. Time will tell. Today it’s IDEAL!
