Brilliant replacement
Gue power supply failed suddenly. This replacement worked well to power hue play bars and gradient lights

Works, but not 1.8m long!
Whilst this adapter works perfectly with the Hue Play lights, the cable not 1.8m long as advertised in the product description. The actual length of the cable is about 33cm. I now need to purchase an extension cable as this did not meet my needs.

Works with light strip and Play bar
Working well with my Hue light strip and play bar - bought it to replace the standard triple plug from Philips as the standard one has the bulk of the plug going up instead of down, which meant that it didn't fit well in my cable tray.

This is going to catch fire at some point
My original charger that came with my Phillips hue light bars went missing. This seemed to be a safe alternative.It arrived quickly an after first trying with all 3 Phillips hue light bars it worked quite well.I was stood near they are plugged in all i could hear a faint popping sound coming from the charger itself. I've unplugged an waited but everytime in plug it back in it just gets louder with a smell of burning plastic.Glad it happed on a Saturday or my house would have been in flames

Does what it should
Good sturdy plug, 5 spurs are well protected from the plug. Nothing has melted or blown up yet.

Ok, but
This item does exactly what I want it to do. The original Hue AC adapter is too big and once you plug the lights into it it becomes very big plus the UK 3 pin plug is the wrong way round.Very awkward in limited and confined spaces.This AC adapter gives you more flexibility when attaching the play bars.The only problem, if it has a problem, is the hum.Once you connect your play bars in to this adapter you will hear an annoying hum.Ok if you are far away from it, but once you hear it you will always notice it.

Stopped Working Within 1 Year
Sadly I have to leave a 1 star review as the plug has stopped working after less than a year. I plugged my Hue light bar into the original Philips plug and it works but none of the 4 plugs on this one work anymore so I can't use my Philips light. I couldn't find any option to contact this company's customer support so unfortunately I have to leave this review.
