Note: The batteries required are three AA types for each star (not AAA as in the Amazon description)The connecting lead is about 35cm, quite short. Battery box is black plastic 7.5x4x1.5cm, lead is transparent.The lights are wrapped around a metal former, looks well made. The lights are bright and can be set to continuous, or set to cycle through a number of flashing modes (you can't separately select mode). Both look good.The slider switch on the battery box is a bit fiddly, I use a thumbnail to slide it.When first switched on - either continuous or flashing - a timer starts and switches off after 6 hours. Back on again after 18 hours.The LED lights are warm white. There is a strong metal ring at the top which can go over a wall hook / suction hook on window, or the item can just be rested on a suitable base.The item is energy rated A++. Don't know how long the batteries will last but I'd imagine you'd need some spares over the holiday period.

Received today. The cable from the battery box to the star is not very long, approximately 25cm. Very bright and pretty. Battery box says timer on it, but can't get this to work. As I see it, there are 2 functions, on permanently or flickering on and off.

Good but the wire on them is far to short. Wouldn’t recommend.

Very happy with those stars. They are beautiful and very bright. I’ve been using them every day to for a week now, for about 7 hours a day and the batteries are still working. It was my main concern as I bought some Christmas lights last year and I had to change the batteries every 2 days!The only slight negative is that the cord between the star and the batteries is quite short. It’s not a problem for me but it’s worth noting.So very happy with those lights, I recommend them!

I use these is the small bedroom windows and they look really good.I didnt get a remote though and the timer system is good but I have no idea how to make it work! I just turned it on once and it seemed to align with sunrise and sunset

One of mine works perfectly and the other is on unless I remove the batteries. Would have given it 5 stars if I didn't have this problem

Very nice stars, look amazing on our window. I was looking for something for Christmas and this fits the bill perfectly. So much so that I purchased another pair for another window
