These towels are a beautiful purple color true to the images in the seller description. The size of these is again as described and is good for putting in a gym bag to wipe your face after working out. These are SO soft! I could even see using this to dry a baby after a bath because it is that gentle. The towels have tags with images of washing instructions but I would be happier if they wrote them in words somewhere so I do not have to look up what the images mean. In addition, It actually says, “Do not wash with cotton” which I find very odd and a little difficult. Why can you not wash these with cotton and what would happen if you do? Because so much of what I own is cotton, it would be hard to throw these into any load and I really do not want to wash these two towels by themselves. I will have to see how absorbent these towels are because I would not have expected polyester to be a great absorber and that is 80% of the materials. I gave one of these to my friend when he went to the gym and he commented on the brand name, “MEGA LOVEMART” which is printed on the towels. Pretty corny of a name and he said it was not very manly to have it printed in large letter on the towel but it did not bother me much. I did notice the towels were folded in their packaging in such a way that you could not read the brand name until you opened the package and unfolded it so that is not good for advertising. I put the towel in a pot and filled a measuring cup with two cups of water. I gradually poured the water over the towel until the towel could absorb no more. It was just about a cup of water the this towel could absorb and that was without being washed (just right out of the package) so pretty impressive. Last thing is that the packaging was just a plastic envelope and it would be helpful if the towels were put in or included a reusable bag. I love how soft these towels are but I wonder exactly how I am going to continue to use them given the odd washing restrictions.

The product is alright. It’s just way too large for a gym towel. I almost feel like I’m carrying 1/2 a bath towel with me. It’s folded like 6 times. Can’t stick it in my little gym carrier. Makes it hard to carry my handful of basic items (ie - phone, keys, chapstick) & water bottle in other hand. Wish it was 1/2 the size max. It’s absorbent & soft. Maybe a little too thick for my preference, too. If you sweat a huge amount (like drench style) sure go for it- but if you’re looking for a basic towel to tag along in the gym from places to place- I’d keep looking.

OK, so I'm going to admit right up front that when I clicked "BUY" I was really very skeptical about them and frankly I thought... Well, I can always use them for the car or around the apartment. Boy was I ever surprised. These towels are wonderful. Yes, as some have said here on amazon, you have to adjust to how they work, and I did. Many reviewers said that you really can't wipe the water off your body, it's more of a blotting the water off. Actually I find I can easily do both. The result is this and I continue to remark about them: I get so completely dry so fast that I don't think I'm dry yet, but I am...really dry. I like the color, and the fabric is smooth-n-soft, and they do dry quickly, and the size is perfect for me and I'm just over 6' tall.Oh. and I did wash & dry them prior to using them. So,Here's my recommendation to all of you skeptics: Buy them, try them, and if you're like me, you're gonna love them too. My only concern is what color to get next:-)

We bought these in two colors in the smaller hand towel size and one color of the mat towel size. I can't say that I particularly like the large towels on my yoga mat. They slip and stretch just a little, as well as wrinkle up under my feet, which is not ideal during downward dog or balance poses. That said, we found a great use for them, as well as the smaller towels.As sport towels, the smaller ones are great for taking on a run. We live in Florida where it's very humid for at least half the year. Carrying a heavy towel is not going to cut it, especially on a run in hot, humid conditions. But, having a lightweight, absorbent towel when profusely sweating in the heat is a MUST. These serve that purpose very well. We use the larger towels to cover the car seats after our weekend trail or park runs, to keep the sweat (and occasionally trail dirt or sand) off of the seats! They work great. The smaller towels are also great for using to wipe sweat while strength training or doing other cardiovascular exercise, at the gym, at home or on the go.So, while I will look elsewhere for yoga mat towels, I'll continue buying these for running and other fitness activities. Also, after well more than a year, these towels are holding up very well. We are planning on picking up a few more sets! I just wish more colors were available. It appears the selection is the same as when we bought our current sets last February.

I don't do yoga. I don't use these with a workout mat.What I do is sweat.I bring one of these guys with me onto the treadmill or elliptical trainer (small enough to fit in the cup holder) and mop of pints of sweat while I work out. Other towels I have used either have been a little too "textured" (terry cloth isn't as soft as you would hope when you are doing quick wipes against my sensitive bald head) and not nearly as absorbent. This wonder-towel folds to a great small size, is very soft, and is very absorbent. I got the 15"x24" size and is was more than sufficient for my needs.No, I didn't receive anything free, and wasn't asked to write a review. I just like these guys - Ordered more so I don't have to do laundry as often.
