Good for my dogs
Seems to be good stuff. Been giving to my dogs for 3-4 years. From what I can tell, it doesnโt change the flavor because the pups never hesitate to eat. I wish it came with a cap from which you can pour instead of just a pumper. I have such a cap that I got from another bottle and have used it with this oil since I started using it. I like that I can control how much oil I dispense more precisely than I could with a pumper.

High EPA and DHA,protected from oxidation by natural vitamin E and an aluminum bottle, vacuum distilled, very mild flavor&aroma.
I am a biologist, a graduate of MIT, and both my wife and I take this salmon oil every day. It has a very mild flavor and aroma, like salmon lox, but much milder. It is a very cost-effective source of EPA and DHA, two essential omega 3 fatty acids that are good for your cardiovascular system, brain, joints, and so much more. It is vacuum distilled, which eliminates traces of heavy metals and foreign proteins that might cause allergies in sensitive people. This also makes the flavor and aroma very mild. It really is pharmaceutical grade, and doesn't need to be encapsulated to go down easily. It comes in a food grade epoxy coated aluminum bottle, which, like glass, is completely impermeable to oxygen, and unlike glass won't break during rough handling shipping. Plastic is NOT a good oxygen barrier. It is further protected with natural mixed tocopherol (vitamin E family) antioxidants. It does not require refrigeration after opening because of this protection against oxidation, though you can refrigerate it if you wish. The pump system admits much less air when dispensing than a screw cap bottle, and is dribble-proof and more convenient. One of the biggest recent changes in human diets is a great increase in the ratio of omega 6 to omega 3 fats. In the American diet, the 6 to 3 ratio is now about 30 to 1 or even 40 to 1. Not good! 10,000 years ago, it was much closer to 1 to 1. Grass fed deer, antelope, elk, buffalo, etc. have quite a bit of DHA and EPA, though not nearly as much oily cold water fish. Great stuff! We each take 2 to 4 teaspoons per day. Enjoy! To your health!

Excellent Product
This has proven to be remarkably economical to use for our two dogs - one large, the other medium-sized. I've used other fish oils that I thought were cheaper - but you have to look at the recommended dosage. Besides being high quality (according to our vet), it IS non-scented, the packaging is top-notch (aluminum bottle and high-quality plastic pump), you don't have to refrigerate it (you can if you want to), and our dogs love it. Both our dogs started scratching this past summer, with no apparent reason visible (no fleas or mites; skin seemed normal; no hot spots). The vet suggested possible allergies, but aside from a long haul of any kind of testing and experimenting, I decided to try fish oil on advice from a friend. The other brand we started with was moderately helpful but the scratching continued (just not as frantically). Our dogs have been on this now for several months and their scratching has eased up remarkably; sometimes now I think its just habit, as if we interrupt them, they don't go back to it afterwards. In addition, there is the added benefit that these oils can help with any joint pain and inflammation.

Nearly unscented
Itโs hard to imagine a fish oil that doesnโt have much scent. I keep this refrigerated. I give my Shar Pei two squirts on his two scrambled eggs, cooked in organic coconut oil, daily. I canโt tell you the difference it has made in his scratching. He just doesnโt scratch much at all. The fritos smell is gone too. Iโm incredibly glad I took a chance on this product and might buy the other flavor next time but if he is still doing great then I doubt Iโll change. We were taking him to the vet about every 5 weeks bc of yeast. I do put an anti fungal in his ears weekly per the vetโs suggestion. Heโs a totally different dog. Itโs definitely worth a try. I do think it heals them from the inside out.

Good quality! Easy to dispense: Great source of Omega 3 for your pet
A very good product. Easy to dispense. However, in spite of advertised as unscented, there is still the scent on your pet after consumption. We do mix it within their raw feeding, but still, the scent lingers. Other than that, excellent source of Omega 3. It is expensive, specially for large dogs (six pumps per feeding) but one bottle lasts for approximately 2-3 months for two large dogs (giant Schnauzers). We use Amazon subscription to save a bit.

Perfect answer to dry skin issues
This is a quality product. Recommended by my vet. Have used a week and already see a glossy change in his coat and reduced itching. Licks the dish out so tastes good. I keep in refrigerator. No dripping from applicator. Customer service is great if you have questions. You call the number and get a real person!

Helps my cat not itch!
My cat actually likes it. I mix it in with her food. This is high quality stuff. My cat has seasonal allergies and itches all the time resulting in over grooming and biting at herself. I've been trying to find a solution so she's not on meds all the time or has to have frequent acupuncture. I've only given it to her a few times, but I already have seen a difference! Don't get the one in the orange bottle on amazon- she wouldn't touch that one. I'm glad I tried again and got this high quality one. Definitely keep in fridge to keep fresh.
