It is always crap shoot when ordering on line. It is good when it arrives promptly, in one piece, is exactly what you interpreted it to be and looks like it is well made and the price was right. If it does not leak and holds up over time I will be a happy camper.As bonus it came with gloves,Teflon tape, hose clamps, brass nipples and plugs.

The filter and drain bowl assembly was over torqued. The water drain petcock rubber gasket popped of after 4hrs of runtime causing my fuel to empty out of the bowl and losing prime of the fuel hose. I tried to remove the bowl to reinstall the rubber gasket to reprime my fuel system offshore but couldn't remove the filter or bowl assembly. Ended up calling seatow for to tow the boat to shore.

When we bought the seperator we were excited. We had to buy different fittingsbecause we needed a smaller hose size. Then we noticed it wasn't the same fittings as a fuel pump because they would leak. It ended being I found some Bspt fittings and they were more than the seperator. Never put it on the vehicle. I was not happy. Went to return and it was past the time to return. Didn't know how to contact seller.

Does what it’s supposed to But honestly I think they put it together with some sort of glue because the filter is so tight that a pipe wrench wouldn’t take it off! I think they do this so that instead of just buying a filter you just buy the whole system.

filter assembly arrived in 3 days as promised,packaging was in good condition. Installed filter assembly and primed with gasoline. Tried to remove clear bowl and could not budge it with filter wrench. Drained fuel, and removed filter assembly and placed filter holder in a vise and reapplied the filter wrench to the bowl and applied enough pressure to deform filter wrench, but clear bowl did unscrew. Reapplied wrench to filter body and again applied force to unscrew filter body from holder. The side walls of the filter collapsed but finally the filter threads unscrewed but the filter is trash. The rubber oil seal on the filter was fitted to the body dry, no oil so the rubber seal locked on. It may be a Good item but mine was a disappointment do to the factory assembly.

I bought 2, one for me and one for my son. They both have the same problem. The O ring on the discharge nipple leaks. Cannot stop the leak. This is for a boat, when the motor is running it sucks air. One is a oops but when you buy 2 and they both have the same problem this is poor and cheap design.
