I use them to help when working on dollhouse miniatures and for helping remove hard contact lenses which is why I buy several at a time. They work great for both jobs.

This has no vacuum suction. Couldn't make it work.

One of the pens worked as expected but the other didn't have suction - there was a leak in the suction bulb. I noticed the same thing mentioned in other reviews.The pen that did work seemed to work good.

Perfect small suction device to use with small flat pieces. Purchased to use with flat gaming chits. Perfect for strategy board games that employ stacks of chits, such as Advanced Squad Leader. Also doubles as a small blower for cleaning electronics and models.

These have enough suction to hold SMT caps, resistors, etc. I found that in practice that I actually do better with a pair of tweezers that came with my hot air station.

Works OK for fairly large components (such as ATMEGA328 chip). Does not help at all for small components such as 0603 or 0402 parts which was the whole reason I purchased this.

Conceptually a great product, but did not have enough strength to pick up even the lightest object.

Great for working on small parts, like the inside parts of a camera lens. By using this vacuum tool to move things, instead of metal tools, there is much less chance of damaging delicate parts.
