neat, interesting, some issues.
I really wanted to explore 360 videos & photos. This camera is really the best choice currently - but it has some issues.Pros: small, easy to use.Cons: Expensive (they all are), mediocre image quality, hard to use small touch-screen for controls, the editing app on PCs is very limited, one would have to use the phone app instead. What?? Use a 7" phone screen for video editing instead of a 30" computer monitor? For the most basic exporting of photo & videos, that works OK. But for all of their other "fancy" effects, not possible on a PC.And it has 5760 resolution, but that is spread out over the whole 360 sphere, so any individual viewpoint or image is fairly low quality; certainly way below HD. Even the exported videos look fine in a small (~YouTube) window, but if you enlarge to full-screen, they are very grainy. And while some 360's are pretty neat for things, it certainly is not up to standard photo quality - (yet?)....It won't replace any camera (or phone camera!); an interesting toy.

Definitely not a landscape photography camera, but a pretty nice 360 degree action camera
This camera does a pretty good job of 360 degree videography. Due to its straight and slim profile, and the standard 1/4 inch screw mount slot at the bottom. it's the best on the market for invisible selfie stick shots. Competitors which use the standard GoPro type mount are far more likely to have tiny misalignments which will give you the ghost stick problem in your image. The colors and clarity are quite good in good light, but lose something in less than perfect light. If you're hiking in a shadowed area, or in the time before dusk/just after sunrise, the colors will get dull and muddy. The HDR function seems to give duller colors pretty much full time, so I stopped using it.The one really irritating problem is that the voice command function became problematic after just a few uses. It will only respond to voice commands about 1/4 of the time, if that. You can hold it right in front of you and say "stop recording" loudly and clearly, and it will keep on recording. Get used to trimming the ends of your videos, because you'll need to trim out the part where you lower the extended selfie stick and stop the recording manually.

Took to the beach, lasted 5 minutes
I guess it was fun while it lasted. I took it to the beach and within the first few minutes it died. It will not turn on and the led glows a soft red all the time. So much for being water proof. I had the original battery in and the locks were all tight, but water must have gotten in somewhere. It was a fun toy up to that point, but would highly recommend NOT getting anywhere near water. Will probably replace this with a GoPro 360 so I can trust it in these conditions.

Clunky post processing
POSIn order to use any AI feature, you have to download videos to your camera over its wifi. There're more problems than I can count with 1 hand: 1) You can't use internet on your phone while this happens. 2) Wifi is slow 3) Files are large 4) You can't put files in you sd-card, all goes to root. 5) This connection is spotty, and app is buggy, so expect to spend hours before editing anything. 6) AI feature is buggy, so expect re-work.I don't know about you, I don't have that kind of time. Sure never miss a footage because it captures 360, but you're gonna miss a lot of life getting anything from this camera to facebook. So again POS.

Perfect fit, perfect flexibility
It is a perfect fit for the Insta360 X2. When I opened it, it was kind of scrunched up and my initial thought was that I would have to return it. After putting in just a moderate amount of effort putting it on, it fit exactly as it should. I even took it off and back on just to be sure. The silicone formulation for flexibility is perfect and strength. I thought it my tear in the small cut out for the USB C door but it did not. I do not use the case while videoing as the cover or any cover for that matter would increase the heat build up in the X2. I do use the lens cover religiously as keeping your lens free from dust and particulates is critical in maintaining ones best image capture results.
