Good product but with some qualifications
Like it shows in the instructional videos they really do make it a LOT easier for 2 people to lift and carry some pretty large objects. The qualifications to that is they are less effective if the objects are too long like a 7 foot sofa or a mattress. They do help by giving you a hand hold but it isn't quite as effortless. Also going up or down stairs is a bit problematic because the leverage caused by the straps is uneven and makes it pretty tough to keep the straps in place on the objects or your arms. I got a pretty serious bruise on one of my arms because the strap shifted going down a set of stairs. So when you are moving something like a cabinet or a dresser it is amazing how much easier it is to lift and carry them. When doing something like a couch or mattress they can still be helpful but it is not nearly as easy. When going down stairs be cautious because of the change in leverage, especially with longer items.

These Forklift straps do make moving heavy items easier.
My wife and I had seen commercials on television, about these lifting straps. We had several objects around the house we needed to move. I put off trying to move these items knowing I was not going to be able to bend over enough to pick these items up, because of my back problems. I decided to purchase a pair of these forklift lifting straps, to see if they work.My wife and I were both surprised we were able to move the two heavy items, we thought we would need help moving, with little effort. I was surprised we moved the two items.Do they work as easy as they seem on the television commercials? Not quite! Depending on the shape of what your lifting you’ll need to consider balance. This was the only problem we had to work out.At first we didn’t think would be able to move the two heavy items in our backyard. I’m glad we bought these lift straps, “Forklift Straps”. They will be used again when we need to move something else heavy. We believe this was a good investment.

Great product but a little thin
The product is as advertised, but if you’re a professional moving things on a regular basis, these ones are probably not recommended; for anyone else, their perfect.1. I removed one star for this reason alone. I expected nylon with the thickness of a typical 3-inch ratchet strap, but these are much thinner. (Probably the thickness of a typical 1-inch ratchet strap). It would also be nice to have something a little thicker with a movable Kevlar guard that could be positioned to protect the scrap on sharp edges. But you get what you pay for. These are pretty reasonably priced.2. That being said, they are perfect for my needs as a homeowner for the few times a year they will get used.3. This type of strap is a must-have for lifting anything heavy, especially if it doesn’t have any lift points at knee level. It will save your back and make moving a dream.4. They aren’t great for moving up or down stairs (the way it works out, only one person can utilize the straps when going downstairs, and even then, it’s not that handy), so for stairs, a dolly is still best. But if the staircase is only 3-4 steps or the staircase is not steep, these are a must-have. I’ll always have a set of these lying around.5. There is some cushioning where your forearms go, it is pretty thin; honestly, it’s probably unnecessary, but it's there…maybe it helps a little.

Life saver
They work just like advertised, or maybe even a bit better. Had to carry a washer and a dryer to the 2nd floor with my wife, over the stairs was super easy. Carrying it without the forearm lift is a huge pain as you can't really grip it and also the weight seems so much lighter

Durable
I used these straps to bring a dryer up to the second floor, and surprising they helped. The straps helped it to not be an awkward carry.

Amazing
I never expected this to be as easy to use as described, but it is. My only warning is that heavy items will still be heavy, that is to say I don't think me and a small friend can lift a fridge up the stairs. This is perfect for moving very heavy items a short distance, and regular-heavy or misshapen items (i.e. pieces of a sectional) a long distance or upstairs.

Saves your back
These straps made moving my daughters things so much easier. She and I moved a dresser with little effort. We can't figure out how to use them with short, heavy items like our coffee table. Maybe if they came with more than three loops?
