Cheap optical audio cable
Let's face it - I went for cheap on this cable purchase, and it shows. The cable is ridiculously thin and will not stand up to any serious tugging or chewing on by kids/dogs/rodents. That said, avoid these and the thinness might actually be a benefit for pulling cords through tighter spaces or conduits.I've used the cable for several months now and I haven't been disappointed. Audio doesn't drop out and quality seems on par with the prior shorter "monster" brand name cable.PS, if anyone buys "metal plated" optical audio cables you're getting ripped off. Optical doesn't need metal. Just a plastic-like tube to transmit the light from one end to the other without losing the "light" signal. Cheap actually works in this case!

Poor Quality, thin, Didn’t work for me
This cord was very thin and cheaply made. I have used optical cords before and after installing properly I couldn’t get any sound with this cord. To be fair, not sure if it is the cord or the dvr. Either way, this cord doesn’t seem very good quality.

Great price for the quality.
The fiber is a little thin for my liking but when I plugged it in the ends seat well and I had zero problems with drop out which would indicate quality issues. I had this cable plugged into my TV feeding to my Entertainment receiver until I moved and if the need arises I'll buy more of them.

I recommend spending a couple more bucks and get a better ...
It's just fiber cable with little insulation. It does work, it's a little stiff. This is as bare bone and basic as you can get. I recommend spending a couple more bucks and get a better cable.

Basic Optical Digital Cable
I used this to link the back of my TV to my sound system. This is a thin, light cable and may not be suitable for repeated plugging, unplugging, and jostling, but works just fine for my purpose.

Sides rails are too big
The sides rails were too big to fit so I had to shave off and flatten it down. Afterwards it worked as intended.

All 4 cables FAILED after about a month of use!
Not sure what have happened to these cables but they seemed to stop working after a while. Bought a total of 4 cables and they all seemed to have the same issue...stopped working (all static noise) within a month of use. These cables are setup to different TVs (3 TVs) and receivers.

No issues, cheap, good quality
The cables feel like they'll last a long while, and had no issues with connectivity or reliability since I bought them
