AmeriColor(Forest Green) - Soft Gel Paste Food Colour, 130ml, Forest Green

I bought this in order to achieve a really dark green like a hunter green color but this was just not working. Maybe I just wasn’t aware but I thought forest green is essentially a dark green but this is very blue-greenish, more like a really really dark deep teal than it is green. Even the pictures in the reviews seem to be more green so idk if it’s just mine but the blue is very overwhelming. I had to add yellow to my buttercream to cancel out the blue in order to achieve a regular dark green and that worked well. Americolor is great, little goes a long way and it doesnt ruin the consistency. It also gets a lot darker after it sits out for a while so I mix up my frosting well, then lit it sit out for a while and mix it up again to ensure it mixed well. I will probably only use it in conjunction with yellow when I want a dark green. Alone, this color would not work for trees, leaves or anything where you want a true dark green/hunter green. The color is really beautiful, just not what I was looking for.

The best of the best! Have tried many and while I like another brand this one still holds the crown. I do wish it was a bit cheaper and as for the flavor it’s not bad at all. Sometimes I think the colors tend to throw the taste buds off. It blends easily and take very little to achieve a color. Americolor gets 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟

Let me tell you how well this food dye works. We used it and our hands were dyed for over a week. I literally was scrubbing skin off trying to get it off. I have never witnessed a food dye that is this beautiful and this hard core!

I use Americolor almost exclusively for my cake decorating. I can control how strong or subtle the colors are. It has worked well with buttercream, came batter, royal icing, and fondant!
