I've only used this once. It fits nicely in to my backpack. It was sturdy enough. I'm looking forward to many more trips out with this easel. Happy painting everyone.

Je cherchai ce type de chevalet pour de l’aquarelle et c’est le seul qui avait toutes les caractéristiques pour faire de l’aquarelle. Bon c’est sur que le prix est pas donné. Et pour ce prix je m’attendais a une meilleure solidité. Le plastique fait vraiment cheap. C’est dommage. Sinon j’aurai mus 5 etoiles

Well designed with good quality materials. No cheap corner cutting, well thought through from A to Z. Very pleased to have successfully searched this item and more than happy to own it...Bloody Good.

I was pleased with the easel when I received it. The plastic trays are strong, and the palette has a drop down flap that rests against the center pole of the easel, giving solid support. The painting table tilts on a front to back and a side to side plain, and it rotates. The tripod does not have a ball head, but it does have a level and a quick release camera mount. Set up and take down is easy, and the parts can be put together compactly in my oversized backpack. I haven't been in the field with it, so I can't review its performance there, neither can I predict its longevity - but it looks promising.
