This is s seriously good pole, its very light and strong. Long enough to reach and very well suited to use with a gimbal. I put the gopro clamp that came with my G6 plus gimbal on my pole and use it for my gopro when I’m not using my gopro and it also mounts my Panasonic G8 which is quite heavy at 950g. And my Lumex 900 cine. All work well and this pole is excellent so don’t think about it … just buy one

Great piece of kit. Very versatile and light weight extension pole for photo and video work. Has a 1/4" female thread at the bottom to connect onto your tripod, or whatever you fancy. And a 1/4" 3/8" combo male screw on top to mount for camera or ball head of choice. Monam customer service is second to none. They reached out to me to support an initial inquiry and resolved my issue. Great product, great brand.

I bought this to extend a Smooth Q3 phone gimbal for high and low shots. Works well for this purpose. Very lightweight so good for carrying and for handheld use. Also tried it with gimbal’s small tripod fitted to the base of this extension but light weight was then a disadvantage - high centre of gravity meant it was not very stable. Not a criticism, just an observation / possible consideration.

Comfy to hold and fits the Smooth 4 Gimble fine.Took this away on holiday and it was a god send to have. Easy and quickly attached to the Gimble and felt nice nad secure when holding it at maximum extensionGrip is comfortable to hold for a long time too

I found this extension pole is a useful extra bit of kit. It isn’t essential but as I’ll only 5’03 it give me that little extra to hold the gimbal above the crowds. It was also useful when filming an action shot as it was a selfie and could be just that little bit further away which captured the perfect shot. It has a nice weight so confidence when holding
