Do you have tools and skill?
This is an easy though time consuming project, but if you have the correct tools it is a few hours well spent performing the upgrade. It's too bad a company like BMW doesn't have a comprehensive understanding of material science, from oil gaskets to arm rest that deteriorate and become sticky, filthy and just "yuk" junk.these work and fit like OEM, tight form fit and function. If you can't do it, buy the kit and take it to a stereo installer or someone that is used to taking off door panels etc. I did this myself, and it worked out perfecto. 3 hours for all four doors, slow and steady gets the job done. This gets 5 stars for value, fit and conformity and the before and after improvement.
