just so good
Having bought so many different minis and scenery over the years these are just so fun and cool, they take up less space, look AMAZING, and are just so well done, and super fun to take out of their sprues for those who care about that.

A nice product ... that deserves criticism
I purchased Mankind, Mankind Horde, the Grove, and the DM Starter. I have a few hundred actual miniatures already, and I sometimes paint a few here and there. Nevertheless, the ability to have nicely detailed and colorful miniature substitute is most welcome. The killer feature is that you can store these easily in an incredibly compact form. If I run a game at a friend's house, a little storage book takes care of most of my needs. As an aside, I tried several storage options, but the Mini American Flexxfoio (thank you Amazon!) works the best. Getting back to Arcknight: there are strong positives to this product line. All is not perfect, however.Minor criticisms. A couple of my sheets were printed off center so that the image, when removed from the print sheet, gets cut off in small but irritating ways. Removal from the print sheets was hit and miss. Sometimes it worked easily. Other times it was too much effort. And a few times I damaged the mini in this process.Major criticism. I think film Birth of a Nation had more diverse Clansmen than this set. The absence of people of color is conspicuous, to the extent that it must have been a purposeful decision. I decided to attach a picture of the most diverse subgroup my collection: the human fighters. If you look at my photo, I have 36 Caucasian fighters and two characters that are, arguably, non-Caucasians. And the other subsets are worse. I count 30 civilians, all white. Nearly every woman warrior or every elf warrior of either gender is white, except for a few Drow elves, but then that comes with it's own issues with anyone that knows D&D. And of course the king is white. It's a free country and someone can make fantasy products that scarcely recreate more than the British Isles of 500 years ago. But some consumers might decide to take a pass. I felt that one review should point this fact out, so at least people know what they are buying. As for me, I'll keep and use the set I have. But every time I take it out, I'll tell everyone at my table to please overlook the racism.

They replace your messed up minis!!
My review was 3 stars because I had lost a lot of minis while punching them out and others had the paint scratch off but then I found out about arc knights awesome customer service! If you email them pictures of the damaged pieces they’ll send you new ones!! That great customer service deserves 5 stars!!! The minis are great and the people running the show are even greater and deserve the support 100% recommended.

Great, except for some strange art choices...
I was really looking forward to this set out of all the sets I bought, since this was the “barbarians” set. Unfortunately, despite 20+ designs that could be used for male PCs, only EIGHT minis in this set were women. Even more baffling, fully FOUR of those eight were wearing the typical “fortune-teller”/Disney’s Esmeralda type clothing. I am finding it hard to imagine when I might ever need FOUR minis dressed like that? There was also not even ONE female orc or half-orc in this set, although there were a good variety of male orcs, half-orcs, goblins, etc. This is quite inconvenient for me as I was planning out a rather important female half-orc NPC to appear in my campaign.Overall the art quality of the minis is quite high, and I do believe you get an excellent value in terms of overall pieces for the price. If you’re thinking about making the purchase, I say go for it as long as you’re aware of what you will (and won’t) be getting.
