This review is intended to help potential buyers of this life vest. This is a Type 3 life vest, which is designed only to FLOAT the child, NOT to hold him/her on their back and face up!! All the critical reviews I read before ordering this life vest were concerned that it did not hold their child face up. BUT it is NOT designed to do that. For that purpose, one needs a Type 1 or Type 2 life vest, which this manufacturer also sells. This was clearly explained in the literature that came with the vest, but may not be obvious to those who are not used to the different classes of vests. As a Type 3 vest, this item is well constructed and it provides very adequate flotation for my grandchild, but it should not be used without an adult nearby in case the child needs assistance. Hope this is helpful.

My son is 2. He was looking at me scrolling through Amazon, as I tried to find him a good life jacket. When his eyes fell upon this one he immediately started asking for it. It has the safety handle so I made the purchase. It arrived quickly. The dino pattern is cool. It fits well. Can't wait to get out boating once the weather gets nicer!

Ordered an assortment of life vests to donate to our local YMCA for their preschool swimming lessons. The instructors love the ease of putting on the child, the added safety features of the adjustable crotch strap (which keeps the vest from riding up), zippered vest with the adjustable waist straps, and top handle which the instructor holds onto when the child is practicing floating on their back. Purchased both the dinosaur and turtle and the children love the design; they can't wait to put them on which has encouraged more of the reluctant children to get their feet wet. Please note that this does not turn the child over onto their back if they fall face forward AND NEVER LEAVE A CHILD UNATTENDED IN THE WATER -- ADULT SUPERVISION IS A MUST AT ALL TIMES.

My 14 month old is big for his age, he’s 32 inches long and weighs 31 pounds and this fit him great! It was very bulky though, but did the price this liefjckst did what it was supposed to do. If you’re looking for a more sleek, less bulky life jacket then a neoprene one would probably be better, but again for the price this life jacket is fine. Son was uncomfortable at first but after a few minutes he was fine, it was hard for him to maneuver around a boat with it on but worked great once he was in the water with it on. The turtle shell on the back was super cute too!

It fits my grandson well but we have to keep ahold of him or the vest causes him to flip on his face/belly

Its a stylish Type III PFD, U.S Coast Guard approved WHEN boating. Be mindful- its not suppose to turn your kid face up while in water, he/she will float as it provides the support for kid who has some swimming skills. Best use while boating. Check if it fits your kid correctly and is snug, not loose. Teach your child to be calm in water. NEVER leave your kid unattended. Read the instructions. Stay safe and have fun:)

I loved this life vest! My 3 yr old girl is just under 40 pounds and this life vest fits great! Easy to get on and off and to adjust the straps. She did not tilt forward in the water while swimming at all. The only complaint, made by the child, was the strap that goes between the legs was a little different to get used to for her. I then just adjusted the center straps tighter and it stopped tugging so much in that area. Would highly recommend this life vest to any parent. I normally use a puddle jumper for her but felt much better kayaking with her in this instead. I even let her go feet first down some faster waters in the creek where we were kayaking and she stayed above water the whole time.

You are able to see the foam in the back side of the floaty, doesn’t seem to be made properly. That’s my only complain other than that, does do the job and my son loved it.

Very cute; however, as other reviewers have noted, it fits quite small. My average-sized 30 pound 3-year-old can fit it now, but I don't think it would fit him next year.

Excelente artículo, a mi niño de 4 años le quedó perfecto y además estaba feliz con el diseño jurásico. De buena calidad, llegó en tiempo, cumple con su función. Me gustó mucho que trae una cinta en la parte superior como para jalarlo o colgarlo.

I bought this for my granddaughter's birthday. She hasn't seen it yet but will love it. Very cute and exactly as shown in pics. Seems like great qualify. Will be fun to test it out this summer!

Le encanta a mi sobrino y lo mantiene protegido cuando esta en el agua. Lo unico malo que le encuentro es que la tira es un poco incomoda pero al ser ajustable no es mucho problema

Le quedó a la perfección a mi niño de 5 años. No es muy bromoso y le permite moverse en el agua sin problemas. Materiales bastante buenos pues lo ha usado en el mar y en la alberca y sigue en muy buenas condiciones
