Bought this to increase the height of an armchair to ease back pain from sitting too low. The 200mm wooden legs are very presentable and tone nicely with other light oak furniture in the room. Fitting is easy, unscrew the old legs and screw these in. The description is ambiguous about M8 thread and 5/16 mounting plates. Both the legs and plates are M8 which is commonly used for UK furniture (mine are from Next). The broad top is reassuringly secure and adhesive pads are provided to protect wooden floors. Excellent product.

Just what I needed to make a bar height laptop stand on top of the 35.5” high Ikea kitchen island counter. Used the 5” legs with a 1.5” piece of butcher block remnant I cut down (14x23”) to get a 42” high base. Nice, sturdy and I can move to the other side of the island look out the window when I work.
