Bought two of these. The first one works perfectly. The second one burn up one the stove control switch. I took the cartridge apart and found a wire pinched between the top and bottom half of sheet metal. The wire insulation was cut and shorted to the metal shell. I don't blame the seller, because the cartridge came sealed in the factory packaging. Come on Whirlpool! How about a bit of QC? A simple electrical QC test would have detected the problem. I am out $45 for a new switch and a bunch of time troubleshooting and fixing.My advice is to check for shorts before installing one of these cartridge.

Je n'ai pas trouvé à meilleure prix, (243$). Fonctionne très bien et je viens de sauver ma plaque a 2000$. Si vous avez d'autres pièces (bouton blanc ou stainless, switch je suis acheteur). :)

We purchased our fixer-upper house from the 70s two years ago and have been battling with the original stove-top for a while, until now. The right side of our stove was only a griddle, and it didn't work well at all. So, we've been down to the two burners on the left and it's been pretty inconvenient at times. We didn't want to replace the stove because it worked and finding a reasonably-priced stove top with a downdraft vent was just not happening.I didn't know much about these stove tops until doing some research a few months ago and finding this product. It's been about 4 months now and I'd say we cook with these new burners about 4-5 times a week. They are awesome, heat up fast, and it was ridiculously easy to install.The only reason for my 4 stars is the price. I tried to find comparable products at a more reasonable price on other sites but didn't have any luck. Of course we saved money compared to buying a new stove, but not by a ton. It's a specialty product for sure, and I'm happy with my purchase, but it's just not worth $180. I seriously debated buying a new stove and removing the downdraft vent a few times versus purchasing this product, and I probably would have if I wasn't remodeling the rest of the kitchen and already had enough to do building frames for replacing the wall oven and microwave.

I ordered two of these to replace the original inserts on a Jenn-Air C301 cooktop which had finally stopped working and were very worn and dirty from literally decades of use. I was a little concerned from some of the reviews, but when the inserts arrived, they were in "Whirlpool Genuine Parts" packaging complete with THICK instruction/care manuals. Units were very well-packed. They look to be 100% genuine replacement parts as far as I can tell. I had no issues with warping, and seem to be well-made and of similar build quality as the originals they replaced. The finish is a bit more polished, but is not a big deal. Quick test and they are working. Hopefully they will last a long time.

I ordered two plates to replace old coil top on my stove. One came clearly used with coils burnt and looking older than 20 year old coils that are on my stove currently. Other one came perfect but the plate doesn’t lay flat the corner is up more . I reordered two more hoping they come as they are suppose to be. Both worked great just hoping to get two that lay flat and coils are not used.
