95% Great! Sharp, locks solid.
Like the weight the steel and the look. It locks open solidly my only concern is it does not feel closed . Think a leather sheath will solve that.

Just Arrived - First Impressions
I have read different comments with the regard to quality if this product. I wanted to share my initial evaluation with regard to the build quality of this folding chef's knife.I am retired but work in a commercial kitchen. I have own several chef knives and a few folding knives. This gives me a casual but hands-on level of experience. I use experience here, rather than "expertise".The quality control is quite decent. No obvious flaws were found, upon indpection.Spyderco makes their folding chef's knife, the Spyderco Spydiechef, which is a real nice knife. It has LC200N ultra rust resistant steel and titanium handles. You can buy it here on Amazon for $282.80. It has a 3.32" blade.Pointing out, that this might not be a Spydiechef, but it costs a lot less money, at $23.88.The handle is quality G10, with steel liners. It is an open back design with barrel spacers, which is my preferred type of construction for this purpose of a knife. It is not a super heavy duty knife. I have Cold Steel knives for that. It is perfect for a large kitchen oriented folding knife. You would use it in a manner that the photos suggest. It has a thin flat ground blade that is perfect for cutting vegetables or for trimming meats. Better suited for slicing not chopping food preparation.440A steel has a high stainless quality. All you have to do is to rinse it after using and keep it clean. I never have rust issues with any of my knives. 440A steel is easy to sharpen and keep a sharp edge. The edge is very sharp out of the box. I don't think it will be hard to maintain the sharp edge with a $40 diamond stone that I use.I have several folding pocket knives. All are acceptable for cutting up an apple. But none of them are actually well suited for actual food preparation like this knife is.Will update this review with use...

I would not recommend for a daily use but dang it is good value for travel etc.
I frequently get called upon to cook for large groups outside my kitchen so I look for portability. I often find the locations where I cook to be poorly equipped so I need to be prepared with my own tools. I have a few small chef and paring knives in my travel kit but wanted something a little larger just in case. For $30 this is a great knife and small when folded. The G10 handle scales concerned me a little as micarta can sometimes have fibers exposed where bits of food could get stuck leading to cross contamination but this micarta appears to be very well sealed so no issues there. The blade is scary sharp right out of the box. I have had surgical blades that were not this sharp. Be very careful handling it. That said, it will likely not hold that edge with rough use so be prepared to sharpen it regularly. The ergonomics are ok but nowhere near perfect. However, it is a folding knife and not a custom chefs knife so set your expectations accordingly. It sits well in my large hands but the square end of the handle does dig a little into the palm of my hand. I am not planning on using this to process large amounts of food for hours on end. If I did, that pressure point would likely cause a blister over time. Use the right tool for the job. If you need to process small amounts of food quickly, this will be more than sufficient. The tension of the blade in the folded position is lacking which makes it easy to flip out one handed. At the same time this also makes it dangerous to carry in a pocket as the blade could open on its own. The little burlap type bag it comes it is cute but I will likely replace it with something a little more sturdy soon. I might consider making something out of Kydex or just look for a sheath that it fits. While its not a replacement for your daily cooking knives it more than fits the bill for camping, travel cooking, and working in a kitchen that you are unfamiliar with what gear they have.

Looks great quality.
Doesn't stay sharp for long.Tarnished easily.I expected a well balanced knife for food prep. In my opinion, it's not.The only good quality is it's a folding knife. I would not recommend it for a camp knife.

Not Great Quality
This knife was described and priced as a quality item. The blade is good. The handle is badly made. The folding and closing mechanism is loose and does not lock in. Not a good overall product.
