This stuff works! When I adopted my senior chihuahua/terrier mix, his teeth were in bad shape. Even after an extraction and cleaning at the vet, they still looked pretty bad. I started gently brushing them every other day with this stuff and the toothbrush that comes with it, and the difference is remarkable. All the yellow crud that was built up is gone—see Ziggy’s before and after pics! And while he doesn’t love the actual brushing, he tolerates it because he does love the poultry flavor. A tube lasts us about 4 months brushing every other day. Consistency is key—it does take a month or two of consistent brushing to see results, but if you keep with it, it is truly a game changer.

Update since using this, I don't even have to call my pup to clean his teeth. He comes and jumps in my lap as soon as I open the jar of finger wipes. This stuff must be delicious. He also stays in my lap for a while after I finish, to cuddle. He's never been such a lap dogMy peek was already used to having his teeth cleaned before bed. He would come when I called him and climb on top of me. I lay in bed to clean his teeth. That way I can see in his mouth. The bedside lamps light it up in there. He has always came to get them cleaned, but sometimes clearly reluctantly. I use the little cloth finger puppet style cleaners. I decided to add Toothpaste to the regimen and it must be tasty. Now he climbs on top of me as soon as I start opening the jar of finger wipes. I have to add Toothpaste with him on top of me. He won't wait to be called. In addition to tasting great, I do think I see better results cleaning. The vanilla mint smells pleasant too.

Got this for my doodle's teeth. I wasn't sure if he would like the vanilla mint but enjoys the taste. I have been using it a week to help with the gum line. Seems to help with the buildup. Vet said the yellow stain would likely need to be scaled off but he said his teeth look good for 3 years old and doesn't need to have them professionally cleaned.

I've tried several other brands of doggie toothpaste, and this one is the clear winner. In the past, my dog reluctantly allowed me to brush her teeth. Since switching to the Virbac CET beef flavored toothpaste, my dog is actually excited to have her teeth brushed when I bring this out. I will definitely be purchasing this item again!

My dogs used to run away when I tried to brush their teeth. Now they run to get their teeth brushed. Last vet visit, she said she was impressed with how good their teeth look. I use it ALL the time because my dogs are very important to me and deserve my best.

This is my second time buying this product for my dogs. They absolutely love the taste of it and get some excited when I bring out this tube along with their brush. It has a very pleasant vanilla smell. I also like how it does help their breath smell better. And it does clean their teeth pretty well. I will keep buying this product.
