Worked great for 6'2" 220lb guy who usually camps in RVs
Easy to set up, easy to pack, and most importantly, it was super sturdy for me. I prefer to camp in my RV but that's just not always an option. Used this on two campouts with our church youth group this summer and I don't think I'd ever go back to sleeping on the ground. So handy to have a cot in the text - more space, a place to sit and not just crouch or lay down, and it keeps things even for a good night's sleep. I had a foam pad on this (nothing too thick) and found it very comfortable. That extra tray extended seems like a small add-on but actually made for an awesome mini-nightstand to keep the phone, Kindle, and Chapstick handy.

It is heavy duty
Arrived as described and on time. At 69 years old I was looking for a cot that sat up higher(easier to sit on and get up from) than those compact ones that sit really low and fold up into a small bag which are best for back pack camping, since I am an SUV / tent camper lugging a bigger profile and much heavier cot was not an issue. This was perfect for but yes again it is heavy and extremely sturdy. I like the optional side table that came with it which I was concerned it would fit loosely and sag some but it also is sturdy, it folds up into it`s own storage bag if not using. I am 6`1" and 195 lbs. I had plenty of room to spare lying down at either end. The bonus is that it is extra wide which adds to the comfort as a side sleeper. For my living room test run I added a pad and pillow and slept well. Like other Coleman products that use the pop-up system this also unfolded and refolded with no issues fitting back into bag. For me this is perfect --if you are and RV-er , Car camper or need an extra bed for guests at your home or cabin with space to store it, this is built well and very functional. Good luck MIke

Coleman Quality But Not Too Comfy
This cot is long and fairly wide. It has a good quality canvas you'd expect from Coleman. Having said that, the canvas is quite rough on your elbows...if your padding slips. I had to use a big comforter, triple folded, to get any softness to it. Eventually and luckily I had a My Pillow mattress pad that my son wasn't comfortable using on his bed. I took that and doubled it over for the cot. Low and behold, as every My Pillow product is, it was wonderful and I slept very well and comfortable. Now not everyone has an extra My Pillow pad laying around so I would definitely have a thick comforter and triple fold it for comfort. The pop holder is great and also held my phone close to me at night. The cot is pretty sturdy for having fewer connections on the bottom. It opens and folds down great. Very easy. The carry case is good quality, handy, good for storage and doesn't take up too much room. I'm glad I bought it !!!

It’s not a Serta Bed, but come on.
There are a lot of picky reviews on cots so let me start by saying, this is a cot. It’s not a padded cot but rather a frame with canvas. So when I give it 5 stars it’s not because it’s as comfortable as a bed mattress...come on folks. Stay at home if that what you want.On with the review, as with any non insulated cot I used a sleeping pad. My pad is the same pad I hike with, a BA Qcore SLX with a fairly high R value (keeps you warm in snow). I would say with any canvas cot that if you want it to be “perfect” then you need your preference sleeping pad. That being said, I slept like a baby. The pad on the ground isn’t terrible which is why I bought it. But on the cot with a bit of air let out I seriously was quite comfortable. And warm. The cot is not overly stiff as was my buddy’s that came along (his was the generic cot sold on Amazon as well). With the combined give of the canvas and the nice pad I really had a great nights sleep. As people have said the legs don’t lock in. The pressure of your weight keeps everything in place. This was never a worry as it is quite sturdy. Where you encounter any leg issues is if you start moving/relocating the cot around. The cot basically starts to fold up like you are putting it away. I did not find this to be an issue after I did it once. And there is no worry when on it.It sets up very easy and equally easy closes up for rebagging. It is heavy, so for the odd person who thinks this is a hike-in cot it isn’t. But it wasn’t intended to be. It’s for car camping. I also like that it easily goes into the storage bag. Hate bags that “just fit” and it’s a struggle to get back in. This one is easy. Lastly the little add on table is nice. I didn’t really use mine sine my tent has pockets in each corner that were right where they needed to be in relation to the height it’ll of the cot (bonus), but I could see it being useful. Frankly I could care less about the table though so I won’t really say anything here other than it attaches firmly and seemed as though it would be useful.
