Goodyear Large Inflatable Blimp - 33"

Q: Will this hold helium for even a few hours? I would love to have it "fly" (with a tether of course) over my backyard party.

I purchased this with the goal of trying to convert it to a helium filled flying RC toy. Unfortunately after filling it with helium i discovered that it will not 'float' at all. The material is similar to 'pool float material', it's just MUCH TOO HEAVY to float with helium. This is a great decorative inflatable toy very similar to a simple 'beach ball' that you can inflate by simply using your mouth to 'blow into a valve like blowing up a pool float toy or a balloon'. I still like it though and am hanging it from my ceiling next to my model of a hot air balloon and my novelty 'cloud led light lamp'.

Q: How do you actually inflate this blimp?? I used everything possible

Like any other inflatable you can inflate it by blowing through the inlet on the blimp or you can inflate with the pump of your choice through that same inlet. If it won't hold air it may have a hole.

Q: Has anybody tried putting helium in this? Is it light enough to float?
