This pergola looks great. It was easy to assemble with two adults. Everything has held up over the two years I have owned it, but the side rollers and center plastic rollers broke and I can't find replacement parts. I'm waiting to hear back from Purple Leaf.

This was perfect for our small backyard. There were some slight misalignments with a few of the holes but it was easy to work around. I reached out to the seller and they were great. Offered a full replacement but I’d already made it work so they gave me a partial refund which was cool of them. Also had to make a couple of cuts to make it fit against the house and that was pretty easy as well.Overall this is a great product and definitely worth the price.

Don’t waste your money. The aluminum frame is flimsy and easily bent - most of the pieces were dented in on delivery. There is a hook to keep the fabric awning retracted when it’s windy, that was too weak and did not hold it in place, so on windy days the wind would pull the awning around and break the poles. I ordered the version with lights, there’s no system to hold the lights up, you have to improvise that. I purchased this about 4 months ago and it’s already broken in multiple places, I’m taking it down this weekend and replacing it. It was installed properly, I don’t have kids or a lot of guests damaging it, the pergola was damaged just by normal weather. Do yourself a favor and buy something else, this one is cheap and flimsy.

I've had this for over two years. I set it up singlehandedly - took some thinking but not too bad. Now that it's been up for over two years, it's held itself well - still looks quite new; the canvas is good quality, and I love the easy retractable feature.

The instructions for this pergola are the worst!!!They just have pictures and you have to guess which way things go.If there had been some words at all it would have taken far less time. (We put the middle railing on reverse so it is going to take a good hour to take apart and reassemble. Unless we want to make some new holes for the top piece.Put together lightweight (100lbs) but sturdy and looks nice. Despite the trouble putting it together. It looks great just as the picture shows.

Customer service refunded me for the curtains. I’ll rate this from 1 to 3 stars, since customer service resolved my issue. Still need to figure out what to do with the curtains. Hopefully the manufacturer can fix their design issue.The reason I wanted this pergola was for the privacy curtain. The curtain was never installed, because the holes to screw them in was only a hole and never designed for the curtains. I tried working with the manufacturer for a replacement beam, but I was told to drill screws myself! My experience and reasons not to buy this pergola:1. Bad design. Curtains will not be assembled2. Holes do not match to screw in. Be prepared to use multiple screws after they are forced in.3. Instructions are not detailed enough. I had to figure out why parts don’t fit and uninstall to reinstall.4. Cheap aluminum5. Expect curtains to ship separately from pergola.6. Missing parts and had to buy at the store.7. Customer Service sucks8. Top canopy gets snagged in the middle of the rail and isn’t a smooth open and close
