Very wide
I bought this for an eight year old who plays hockey. He has a normal size neck but it’s way too wide for him. He couldn’t look down with it on. I had to buy one at the hockey shop.

Bulky
This is bulky and uncomfortable for my 6 year old. I returned it and bought a shirt with the guard built in. Although the shirt is way more expensive, I got a larger size so he can get at least two seasons out of it. He also likes the shirt and I don’t have to fight him to wear it. I think the neck guard collars will do the job but they aren’t comfortable imo.

THING IS MASSIVE
My son is 5, and it looks like he has a neck brace on. Honestly, it's too big for my neck and I have a massive head. If my son ever sprains his neck, this thing will be perfect for immobilizing. Otherwise, don't get it because he hates wearing it. And it is deterring him from playing hockey because he couldn't look around. Bummer!
