YAMAHA GRIZZLY 600, BIG BEAR KODIAK 400, GAS TANK FUEL GAUGE METER

This was a perfect fit, easy to install, and great value!.I didn't think I would find it on Amazon, but very pleased I did.No more guessing how much fuel I have left out on the trail!

I was not going to spend the money on a new gauge, but after reading some of the positive reviews I stepped up. It fit perfect and was a simple and fast install. It looks better than OEM and only time will tell how it holds up. ABTW I have 1/2 a tank of gas!

A direct replacement for my 2000 Big Bear. Fit was perfect and an easy installation. The old gauge was so oxidized and cratered you couldn't read it and the lens was rotting away. This was a newer version than the original that I had and is flatter than the original.

I bought an older Yamaha Grizzly 600 from a friend. Because of its age and my unfamiliarity with Yamaha ATVs, I assumed that it did not have a fuel gauge. I pressed that "brown button" above the gas cap a few times, and nothing happened. (See picture) I looked online, and discovered that the "brown button" was really the fuel gauge, all weathered over. Fortunately, I found a replacement on Amazon.This is a nice improvement at a reasonable price. It installed in about 10 minutes, and 8 of those minutes was spend prying-off the old gauge.Four stars. Not five stars because (1) it's not tremendously accurate. When I first installed the new gauge, it said Empty, even though I had just put two gallons in the tank. I thought it was probably defective. But when I added gasoline, the gauge crept upward. I finally got it all the way to Full. So, Empty isn't really empty. Not even close, and (2) a new little rubber seal behind the metal ring is NOT included with this purchase. When taking the new gauge off, I almost destroyed the old rubber ring. Then I checked, and nope - I don't have another one. So - take great care when removing your old gauge. You will need the rubber ring.But, for what it is, it gets the job done. I would recommend this - just accept it's shortcomings. Ride safely, my friends.

A bit pricey for what it is but my old one was worthless so its great to have a fuel gauge once again. Easy to install.
