Works really well.
I've used this plasma cutter a few times already and is very good. Light weight easy to carry around. You should really connect it to a 16amp supply. Plug is not included for that reason. Instructions however are next to useless and give no useful information. As I'd never used one before, it took me a while to work out why mine wouldn't work as instructions were so poor.I enjoy using it now.

Excellent piece of kit
After getting by without one for years, I borrowed a cheap unit and that settled it, had to have my own lightning scissors. Very impressed, capable machine, easy to set up and fine tune. Well packaged. Very happy. Long live the lightning scissors

OK
Pressure dial is in Kg/cm and mpa, which I found confusing, I don't understand those measurements. Also when changing the pressure the gauge doesn't move for a long while, and I found myself tapping on the dial as though I was in a U-boat. So I replaced it with a good quality 40mm PSI/Bar unit. Now the pressure reading changes instantlyAir inlet is a brass barbed tail which, again, I found annoying for connecting a compressor. So I removed it and installed a brass 1/4" quick release. You also need to change the elbow inside the machine to a 1/4 Bsp x 10mm Pushfit elbow.I then connected a Le Lematec inline filter to that (Available on Amazon)Earth 10/25 dinse connector comes lose and unplugs itself easily, so will be buying a better quality earth clamp.Plasma head is good quality WSD60, happy with that.Aside from those obvious cheap and nasty bits it's well put together internally. Neat and tidy, and everything in a logical place. Soldering looks good, and board connectors seem good quality. It performs well. You can put a 13amp plug on it though the plug will get hot, 32amp is definitely preferable and safer. My first use was against a turbo cartridge that had rusted into it's housing, variable thickness around the circumference, from 4mm to 10mm at a guess, and it went through it without any issues. In my opinion It's cheap enough to be the better alternative to buying a Chinese one from eBay or Amazon. All together the mods cost me about £13.I bought mine from FFX not Amazon, but people may want to hear my experience.
