Salt and Pepper Grinder Shakers Set Spice Mill Refillable Grinders (2.5 inches x 5.1 inches)

Excellent design, size and function, plus they have CLEAR PLASTIC TOPS so you can easily see how much ground salt or pepper you have to sprinkle on your food. After using my first set I knew I needed another set for different combinations of pepper corns in particular. Oh, and they come with an extra set of ceramic grinding wheels (yes, ceramic, not plastic as a few reviewers falsely claim). Very smooth operation and adjustable from fine to coarse sizes. Here's my recommendation for use. First, use quality coarse salt and whole pepper corns. Second, don't grind with lid off over hot steaming food while cooking because the steam will negatively effects the salt and pepper in the grinders, the grind quality you get, and will ultimately clog the grinders. Just grind with lid on until you get the required amount (hence the need for the clear caps), open the caps and sprinkle. Easy peasy... ☺

Decent quality of the product. Really easy to use and stands well. Pretty easy to fill but will probably get a small funnel to make it easier. Easy to adjust and comes with replacements just in case. Overall looks great. Glad with my purchase.

This set is beautiful to look at, and works great, however, the flakes that come out of the grinder are so big that it is very easy to over salt or pepper your food. I wish it would grind much smaller pieces.

Small but holds so much. Love the lids.

These take the grind out of the grinding. They flawlessly grind the condiments without any additional strain on your wrist and the adjustable grind control makes everything that much better. Very easy to hold and use due to the design of the glass containers. Money well spent on this brand, only wish I had made my purchase that much sooner.

Used sea salt and the alleged “grinder” just plain didn’t. It came out in little chunks, the same way it was in the same container. What’s the point? Am I missing something?

Love the containers that you can see through. I put my specialty salt and peppers in these so you can see at a glance what grabbing. Good quality. Sturdy mechanisms.

In use last 2 months

I was taken in by the attractive looks of this item. I bought two, one for salt, one for pepper. The salt one I filled with free flowing salt and it works, no surprise there. BUT the pepper one does not grind at all. It comes out in big chunks, but you don't feel that it is grinding. If you tighten the grinder, it stops working and the black plastic ring holding the ceramic grinding piece in place comes off. Then you take it apart, put it back and try again...same result.Not worth it.

The product is not durable

The milling mechanism does not work after the first few turns. A thin blue plastic rings falls out which does not fit back in. Then it just turns freely having a joyous ride
