These vests look great. However, they aren't durable for an active, country living pet. I bought one for each of my dogs, and they were torn in less than 48 hours. Today, one of my dogs lost his, and I have no idea how or where. They run on our property, including the woods, so I'm assuming he lost it there. If you have a dog that doesn't go in areas like that, especially a city dog that gets walked on a leash, this product might be good for you. The color and reflection was excellent. I just wish it wasn't a thin, cheap material, and that it wouldn't have been easy for my dog to get out of and lose.

This vest is exactly as described and well-made. We have a senior retriever mix who suffers from canine dementia. We bought this vest because she had gotten lost in the wooded area behind our house. We do not want to keep her confined, because she enjoys meandering outside. Since our property is fenced, she is safe. But, the vest would allow us to find her easier. The buckle on the adjustable strap is rather large, which would not be a problem for any dogs out for a walk. But, Jenna always wears the vest because our dogs have a dog door, and I thought the buckle might be uncomfortable for her when she is laying down. I easily removed the buckle, measured her size, and sewed the two ends of the strap together. Because the strap is elastic, it's still easy to get on and off. Fortunately, Jenna has not gotten lost again since we bought the vest. But, the peace of mind is well worth it.

I was a little concerned my active dogs wouldn't wear this vest. They balk at any kind of "clothing." However, the vest is lightweight, and can be adjusted to fit snugly, but not too snugly. They each wear theirs happily both on leash and off. The orange is extremely bright and the reflective parts are extremely reflective. We've had a remarkable reduction in near-misses with automobiles since we're started using them, both early morning and evening. Good product.

My dog is a working dog. She stays up at night guarding our farm from deer and other critters, darting through the woods to bark and keep them away. I needed blaze orange to make her visible to hunters around our land. I was worried that I would not find a vest sturdy enough for her but I'm very pleased with this purchase. The velcro is thick, strong velcro, and the buckle is wide and secure. The orange material is thicker than I expected, not flimsy. This is a nice, sturdy, well-constructed vest that will stand up to rigorous use.

At first thought these were great. Only lasted 2 and a half weeks before it was totally destroyed. Not durable enough for my boys who play rough and run in the woods everyday. We have ordered yet another set safety vests for our boys. 3rd set in a month and a half. If anyone knows of a truely "durable" vest for dogs who get to be dogs please let me know. ( stitching all came undone and it started to curl up from being out in the rain a lot. Amongst other things)

Works great for visibility. It's a lightweight mesh that doesn't make the dog too hot in warm weather. However, it runs small and barely fits around my dog's neck. Fortunately, the neck is adjustable with hook-and-loop. If you have a dog with a deep chest and/or a big neck, you'll want to go up a size from the measurements given in the description.

Worth it in every aspect. I had to buy a size up for my dog, as she is a mutt and has a long torso. However, this vest covers the majority of her back, which I always have a hard time accomplishing when purchasing items for her to wear for our Fall/Winter outdoor running excursions. This vest is a bright color, is easy to put on and take off, and assists in keeping my precious baby safe. Thank you for an excellent product!

This fits our 45 lb. Portuguese water dog, but it's pretty short toward the tail end, yet the "belt" part that fits around her belly to hold it in place is too big. If you want the dog's back covered, I'd say buy up a size, but then the part that goes around the dog's middle won't fit. A quandary.
